Frazier for years, and her KING series is one of my favourites, so you can imagine how excited I was when I received an ARC of Up in smoke on my Kindle. It was just as I thought it would be... amazing! You can read it as a standalone, but I wouldn't recommend it. You just have to experience this series from the very beginning. Characters from previous books make an appearance in this one, but it will not affect your understanding of the plot. If you haven't read KING series before, grab it now! You are missing out... Just as the rest of the books in the series this one was gritty, sexy, compelling and it held my attention from the start to finish. I didn't expect anything less from T.M. Frazier. I don't want to reveal too much, but I will say that this was one hell of an unexpected dark romance. We had two completely different protagonists, Smoke and Frankie, and somehow they made sense. Simply, they were a perfect fit. Yeah, he was a bit rough around the edges, in a very dark-ish way, but T.M. Frazier sure knows how to write her lead alpha males. And Frankie.. she is a badass! If you love a suspenseful, dark romance, you will like this. I highly recommend it!

This is not my first book by Natasha Knight so I knew what I was getting myself into. I have a book hangover. Seriously. This is a dark romance at it's best. This book was exactly what I needed, cause' let's be real... from time to time you just have to dig into some good old dark romance.
I will not write about the plot, because for that, you have to buy this and read it. If I go into too many details, I will reveal too much and spoil it for others... but I will tell you that this is so much more than the romantic suspense. Don't expect an every day hearts and flowers in this one. It is a story of love and hate. You know that feeling when you are not really sure what a relationship is? It is complicated. Both main characters are very complex. Chemistry and passion between them is so palpable and off the charts!

In Dirty Souls we continue following Vicente's and Violet's forbidden love, and trust me, it was one hell of a ride. Karina's writing can keep me awake all night long, and that is something that I am used to. Apart from creating these amazing sexy alpha males, she is a master when it comes to mafia romance. In the last 50% of the book I was litteraly biting my nails and fliping pages like a lunatic. It was action packed, suspensful, sexy and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved this conclusion of Vicente's and Violet's story and I higly recommend it to all lovers of dark suspensful romance reads.

Nashoda Rose is a very talented writer, even though I can't say that I have read her paranormal books, simply because I am not a big fan of PNR, I read some reviews, and the hype is real! But this series... damn! They have just the right amount of angst and romance. Plus, I love dark romance. What's not to like? I haven't read all the books in this series in order, but I didn't have to, since each book is a standalone. Kept from You had a healthy dose of kink, emotions, alpha male and sweet heroine combined. Killian and Savvy were amazing together. Sweet, kind heroine and cocky, tattooed hero. Both damaged souls, who met in high school, cross paths again eleven years later. But this time, Killian is a big shoot rock star and Savvy is starting over after losing her job and having a failed relationship. From the moment they meet again, sparks fly! I had a feeling Killian would be so much more than a BDSM lover, and he proved me right. If you are a fan of HEA, second chance romance with a touch of dark tones, you will love this. We all know Pepper is great at writing suspenseful, angsty, emotional romance... put darkish in there too... it is a winning mix... every time. First book ended in cliffy, so I was very eager to read the conclusion. From the moment this hit my Kindle, I was flipping my virtual pages like a mad woman. We did get answers to our questions, but since I want to avoid giving out any spoilers, I will not tell you anything. Elle was such a kick ass heroine! I loved her! She can create characters so complex you won't have time to prepare yourself for the whirlwind you are about to experience. I love her books. From the moment I grab them, I can't stop reading until I'm done. Basically, I am sitting on the edge of my seat. Crown of lies is another WIN! It played with my head big time. With every turn of the page I had no idea what to expect next. There were so many twist and turns, lies and secrets, at times I wanted to smash my Kindle against the wall.
It does end in a cliffhanger so be warned... second instalment comes out in February! (It's a duet). Can't wait! I have so many questions, I think I'm going insane. Full review will come after I finish the second book.

Oh, how I love Scarred souls series! Tillie Cole is a master of dark reads. When you need action, fighting, romance and deep feels you know Tillie won't disappoint. This whole series have been quite disturbing and brutal, but still captivating.
Riot is the book four and final book in the series, and I highly recommend to read the books in order. So, Riot picks up where Ravage has ended and we learned that Valentin's sister is alive, and this is where Tillie takes us this time. Since we met Inessa aka 152 in Ravage, I couldn't wait to read her story... and what a story it was!
I loved reading about all other characters (Luca, Kisa, Valentin, Zoyz, Zaal & Talia) from the previous books. So, if you are into some good old dark romance, full of suspense, this one is for you. I highly recommend it!
