This book makes me think of a saying - “you can’t avoid destiny by running away from it.” Hayleigh and Koi were meant to be and there was nothing that could stop them from coming together. These two were phenomenal characters, she was sassy and he was demanding. These two had a rough start, but I loved watching them fall in love.

This book had so much and it had a love story that felt almost perfect. Rus and Azure were perfectly matched and I loved how the story builds slowly. They were so cute and there was a bit of steam which added to the vibes of the book.

The plot was on point and the tension/spice between the two was *chef’s kiss*. I’m looking forward to reading more of Jennifer Porter’s books.
