W.I.T.C.H. Adventures (also referred to as W.I.T.C.H. original adventures, Adventure books or Adventure novels) are five chapter books that each star, and are narrated by, a Guardian to tell an original story set in comics' continuity.[1] All five books were written by Lene Kaaberbøl and first published in Denmark in 2002 and 2003.[2] They were originally written in English for Disney and Egmont.[citation needed]

At Disney's Annual Worldwide Artist Convention held in Italy, Lene Kaaberbøl was given the award as "The Best Disney Novel Writer of the Year" for her work on the W.I.T.C.H. Adventures series.[2]
