Easily the most intimidating power in Anima: Beyond Fantasy in a number of ways, Gnosis is essentially a measure of influence that a single entity may inadvertently have on the world through its mere presence. Natural wildlife or the average Joe will generally have Gnosis ranging from 0 to 5 (though 5 is generally reserved for less natural beings such as elves). 10 to 20 would be the more common supernatural entities; zombies, spirits, elementals, etc. Greater powered beings such as dragons, angels and demons can be found at 30. Any higher up the ladder and you start to reach levels of true divinity. In short, the higher the level of Gnosis a particular being has, the more powerful it tends to be.

Gnosis[]
Standard[]
Soul Manipulation and Conceptual Manipulation (Type 2; Gnosis represents the existential value with which one is able to influence the Soul Flux. The higher one's Gnosis, the greater their influence over it, as well as their means to ignore it entirely.) (While this is true, it wasn't agreed to be listed as soul/concept on profiles.)
Resistance Negation (Beings with higher Gnosis are repeatedly stated to be able to ignore the resistances of those at lower levels. Many of the abilities granted by Gnosis can be resisted or said resistances ignored depending on one's level of Gnosis. Examples of this can be seen below.)
Invulnerability and Damage Reduction Negation (Able to damage beings with lower Gnosis through invulnerability. Beings are able to ignore the "Spiritual Barrier" of those with Gnosis below their own. Beings with higher Gnosis than Chthon's ignore its damage reduction.)
Law Manipulation (Beings with high amounts of Gnosis can bypass the laws of existence to use summoning abilities on mortal beings.)
Resistance to Probability Manipulation (Unaffected by the altered of luck of beings with lesser Gnosis than their own. Beings with higher Gnosis have improved resistance to the Auspice ability.)
Resistance to Fate Manipulation and Precognition (Beings with high amounts of Gnosis can change the preset futures foreseen by Genbu, the Black Turtle. Beings with higher Gnosis than Baal are unaffected by its Control of Fate ability.)
Resistance to Soul Manipulation and Conceptual Manipulation (Resist having their souls destroyed by the "Destructive Assault" gift when it's used by those with lower Gnosis. Beings with higher Gnosis than a Shinigami can resist having their souls reaped by them.)
Resistance to Extrasensory Perception and Precognition (Can ignore the "Absolute Perception" of those with lower Gnosis, which allows one to see the world as spiritual matter and perceive events before they occur.)
Resistance to Information Analysis (The higher one's Gnosis, the more difficult it is for a Shinigami to detect their lifespan.)
Resistance to Sealing (Closed World creates a "bubble of reality" where only beings with higher Gnosis than the user are able to enter or escape.)
Resistance to Chaos Manipulation (Characters with higher Gnosis than Baroque are unaffected by their Aura of Distortion ability.)
Possible Resistance to Reactive Evolution (Beings with higher Gnosis than Omega can bypass his "Absolute Knowledge" ability, though this could also just be another example of Resistance Negation.)
Resistance to Damage Transferal (Can ignore having having the damage they dealt converted into Zeon damage.)
Resistance to Subjective Reality ([[Media:643586561203765259-643590708065992734-Screenshot-20191104-200651-Google-PDF-Viewer.jpg|Beings with higher Gnosis than Jonathan Kappel] resist having their actions being turned into "fantasy" by him.])
5[]
Limited Curse Manipulation (At the moment of death, anyone with at least Gnosis 5 who is mired in negative emotion has the ability to lay a true curse, always with some terrible repercussion.) (This is most likely through the interference of a different entity, likely Malekith, Prince of Crows)
Resistance to Soul Manipulation (Any being with Gnosis greater than 0 can resist being absorbed by a Shinigami's bag of souls for a temporary amount of time.)
10[]
Immortality Negation (Type 3 and 5; negates these immortalities for beings with Gnosis a fair amount higher than their own.)
25[]

Immortality Type 3 and 5 (Has surpassed death, and will simply lose consciousness instead as their wounds recover.)

40[]
Non-Corporeal (No longer has ties to either the physical or spiritual word.)

50[]
Natura+[]
10 (Natura+)[]
Minor Fate Manipulation and Probability Manipulation (Major events and strange coincidences tend to occur around the character, and their actions are of fair significance to reality. To explain the series of remarkable events that happen over the course of a campaign, player characters are generally assigned an initial Gnosis score of 10. They are pulled by fate to places where significant events will occur, so such remarkable events become commonplace.)
Extrasensory Perception and Non-Physical Interaction (Beings whose Gnosis is above their Natura by at least 10 can see and interact with Noth, entities devoid of even a concept in the structure of existence.)
Resistance to Death Manipulation and Resistance Negation (Can resist The Nameless's "Gate to the End of All Life" which normally denies resistance checks, and partially survive its effects even if they fail.)
15 (Natura+)[]
