~ Pipi conversing with B-Sha before their battle |
Neptunia: Game Maker R:Evolution OST - Pipi's Theme
Summary
Pipi (ピピ, Pipi), also called Pippih in the English version, is one of the protagonists of Neptunia: Game Maker R:Evolution. She is one of the three Failure Goddesses who competed against the First Makers in a battle for Shares, which she and the two other Failure Goddesses ultimately lost, dooming them to obscurity. However, after being stumbled upon by a dimension traveling Neptune, she and the other Failure Goddesses were able to repair their reputation under a new company called "Victory".
Pipi is the producer for the company Victory, and is very passionate about her work. She gave herself the nickname "Pipi P", and her main goal is to attempt to "unify the world" through the medium of games. She's described to be confident and reckless, having the mindset of a leader and tending to drag everyone else along with her in one way or another. She is a bit full of herself, as she believes herself to be the smartest person in the world. However, she is also described to be the most sensible of the three Failure Goddesses, and therefore plays the straight man of the group.
Pipi is the personification of the Apple Pippin console, which ultimately failed with an approximation of only 42,000 units sold.
Powers and Stats
Tier: 2-C, possibly 1-C | 2-C, higher with Share Levels, possibly 1-C
Key: Human Form | Goddess Form
Name: Pipi, Pippih in the English version, nicknamed "Pipi P" / "Pippih P", called "Pipi-chan" ("Pip" in English) by Lideo
Origin: Hyperdimension Neptunia (Neptunia: Game Maker R:Evolution)
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Classification: Failure Goddess, Producer of Company Victory
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Expert Boomerang User
- Share Energy Manipulation (General Abilities and Goddess-exclusive Abilities)
- Transformation (Through the phenomenon of Hard Drive Divinity, Pipi is able to transform into her Goddess Form)
- Immortality (Types 1, 4, and 8; Goddesses have been stated[1] and shown not to age physically[2], even when drained of most of their power[3]. As long as a Goddess has Share Energy to pull from, whether it's from a Share Crystal or from their own body, they won't die, even if forgotten by the world[4] or if left with very little power. Goddesses are capable of resurrecting through the acquisition of Share Energy, occurring within the span of at least a minute, if they have lost their Shares and ceased to exist[5])
- Extrasensory Perception (Energy Sensing, Emotion Sensing - When learning why they could not transform in Zero Dimension, Nepgear states that she could not feel their Shares, and when attempted to by Neptune, she too could not feel their Shares; Pipi should be similar to them in this regard, as she is a Goddess just like them. Goddesses and Candidates alike are able to sense sources of Share Energy from far distances[6], and can also sense Negative Energy[7]. Similar to Uni, who was unable to sense any malicious intentions from CFW Brave the first time they met each other[8])
- Sealing (Sealed Zaikopath and put the beast to slumber once more[9])
- Homing Attack (Pipi's first weapon, "AT Boomerang", states that the AT stands for "automatic tracking", and that the boomerang homes in on enemies[10][11])
- Wind Manipulation (Several of Pipi's attacks use the Wind element, or use wind in other manners; Wind Circular is an attack that creates an explosive tornado; Crescent Blast has Pipi create a large boomerang of wind; Moon Buster has Pipi throwing a boomerang made of wind, and Aerial Strike sees her creating six wind boomerangs and firing them at the enemy[10])
- Water Manipulation (Pipi's Punishing Blast is an attack that uses the Water element[10])
- Lightning Manipulation (Thunder Crescent is an attack that uses the Lightning element, where Pipi throws an electrified boomerang that shocks the enemies it hits[10])
- Energy Projection (Affection Beam has Pipi shooting out a high-powered energy beam in front of her. She also compresses and fires energy in her EXE Drive, AT Impact[10])
- Damage Boost (With "Combo Power+", Pipi's damage increases when performing a string of attacks)
- Teleportation (Shown to have the ability to teleport in Game Maker R:Evolution, which she can use multiple times without repercussion[10])
- Forcefield Generation (When a character performs a guard in Game Maker R:Evolution, it generates a polyhedronal forcefield that covers their body which reduces the damage received from attacks by a significant amount, making it so attacks that dealt damage in the hundreds now only deal damage in the low tens[10])
All Resistances granted from Share Energy, in addition to:
- Extreme Heat (Can handle traversing through large, highly heated caves, such as the Rediode Cave, which is located in a volcano. Can withstand attacks from Nepgear's swords, which are noted to be extremely hot, made of lasers, said to be capable of reaching insanely high temperatures, or are capable of slicing through steel and alloys like butter. She is also capable of withstanding the plasma attacks from Nepgear's Gear Slash, and Uni's Solar Burn)
- Life Force Absorption, Soul Manipulation, and Power Absorption (Can withstand the effects of Zaikopath's attacks, which drains the victim of their life force and traps their soul within the main body of Zaikopath, putting their body in a constant state of slumber that they cannot wake up or recover from until Zaikopath is defeated. Zaikopath can also steal the power of those that are attacked by it, weakening them to a state where they can barely fight, and was able to prevent the Gold Third from using their Gold Forms[12])
- Elemental Manipulation (Frequently battles and takes attacks from characters whom possess attacks with the elements of Fire, Ice, Wind, Lightning, Light, Darkness, Earth, and Water, and remains largely unaffected)
- Absolute Zero (Capable of withstanding Ram's Sword of Zero attack, which creates a domain of absolute zero temperatures to drain the enemy's life)
All previous abilities on an enhanced scale, in addition to: Flight, Light Manipulation (When a Goddess transforms, they emit a bright light that can be seen from faraway locations[13])
Attack Potency: Low Multiverse level, possibly Complex Multiverse level (Defeated the four Gold Third fakes, whom were all using their Gold Forms, and seriously injured F-Sha before she could escape. Supposedly shredded the Copy Clique Trio "down to the tiniest scraps" during a follow-up brawl in the game world[14]) | Low Multiverse level (Defeated Gold Form B-Sha in their one-on-one Makers Duel, with B-Sha in the midst of battle saying that she was going to get serious against Pipi[15]. Defeated the main body of Zaikopath, which is much more powerful than its clones, which could overwhelm the Gold Third and heavily exhaust F-Sha in battle[12]), higher with Share levels (As a user of the Goddess Form, Pipi should be capable of growing stronger with higher Share levels, as the Goddess Form is more powerful with more Shares), possibly Complex Multiverse level
Speed: FTL combat speed (Capable of keeping pace with Game Maker's C-Sha, whom was able to keep pace with Ultra Dimension Neptune without using the Gold Form) | FTL combat speed (Faster than her Human Form; can keep up with the Gold Third using their Gold Forms, as well as Zaikopath and Zaiquone)
Lifting Strength: Class 25 (Comparable in strength to Ultra Dimension Neptune) | At least Class 25 (Stronger than her Human Form)
Striking Strength: Low Multiverse level, possibly Complex Multiverse level | Low Multiverse level, higher with Share levels, possibly Complex Multiverse level
Durability: Low Multiverse level, possibly Complex Multiverse level (Can withstand attacks from the fake Gold Third copies, whom were able to seriously injure F-Sha, and most likely would have killed her[14]) | Low Multiverse level (Withstood hits from Gold Form B-Sha[15] and later, withstood attacks from Zaikopath[12] and Zaiquone[9]), higher with Share levels, possibly Complex Multiverse level
Stamina: Superhuman
Range: Extended Melee Range when swinging her boomerang, Tens of Meters to Hundreds of Meters when throwing her boomerang and with magic
Standard Equipment: A various assortment of boomerangs, armors, and her Processor Unit
Intelligence: Above Average (An adept fighter in battle, Pipi is capable of fighting against skilled adversaries such as B-Sha[15], the[16] Goddess[17] Candidates[18] - known as the Second Sisters in Game Maker R:Evolution's dimension - and fake copies of Purple Heart and Green Heart[19], as well as Black Heart and White Heart[20])
Weaknesses: Her Share Energy is able to be cancelled out with large amounts of Negative Energy. She is terrified of bugs.
