Summary
Pac-Man, officially stylized as PAC-MAN or PACMAN, is the protagonist of the Pac-Man series. He is Namco's famed mascot and was created by Toru Iwatani. Since his first appearance in 1980, Pac-Man has become a legendary video game icon and is one of the most recognizable video game characters in the world.
He is a yellow Pac-Person, a circular creature with a large mouth, who defends his homeworld, the Pac-Land, from the cruel and mischievous Ghosts (most notably the four of them; Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde) while navigating through countless mazes and going to adventures outside Pac-Land to stop various other evil threats. Pac-Man is also the dedicated husband of Ms. Pac-Man, and the father of two children.

Attack Potency: Multi-City Block level (Comparable to characters such as Toc-Man,[3] Golvis[13] and Erwin,[7] who can harm and damage him. Regularly defeats the Ghosts, who can pulverize large metal boxes[Statistics Value 1] and harms monsters, who can destroy large stone walls with relative ease.[Statistics Value 2][7] Can generate enough energy to power up an entire city[6]), higher with power-ups. Up to Planet level via Reality Warping/Toon Force (Took control of the Earth by replacing it with his body[16]) | City level (Defeated Spooky, who created a storm over Pac-Village[8])
Speed: Sub-Relativistic (Can circle around the whole planet in seconds.[Statistics Value 3][16] Can outrun and keep up with Ms. Pac-Man,[33] who can easily dodge lightning bolts.[23] Can dodge asteroids from Spooky,[8] even in space while steering a Space Board[3] or speeding asteroid[5]), higher with power-ups
Lifting Strength: Class M (Resisted a gravitational pull which was strong enough to pull in Spooky, who lifted a large chunk of Pac-Village.[Statistics Value 4][8] Broke out of the prison chains and shackles that kept him in place with brute strength, without using his limbs[34]), higher with power-ups. Class Y as the Earth
Striking Strength: Multi-City Block level, higher with power-ups. Up to Planet level via Reality Warping/Toon Force | City level
Durability: Multi-City Block level (Can survive being attacked by the Ghosts and monsters, who can destroy large stone walls. Tanked being in the epicenter of a large explosion which destroyed Erwin's death machine[Statistics Value 5][7]), higher with power-ups. Up to Planet level via Reality Warping/Toon Force. Immortality, Regeneration and Toon Force makes him hard to kill. | City level (Took numerous hits from a full-power Spooky[8])
Stamina: Superhuman (Traversed through multiple mazes,[2] active volcanoes and frozen tundras[8] with no fatigue. Fought against enemies like ghosts and Spectral Monsters across different terrains, realities[7] and time periods[11][5] without taking any rest)
Range: Standard Melee Range physically; Several Meters with Pac-Dot throws and shockwaves; Far Higher with abilities and power-ups (Varies from Tens of Meters to Infinite). Up to Planetary via Reality Warping/Toon Force
Standard Equipment: Power-ups, ice skates, flippers, roller skates,[8] etc.
- Optional Equipment: The Golden Fruits, Yellow Pac-Marine,[8] Toc-Man,[7] Gilgamesh's Hyper Armor, Shield and Excalibur,[12] Magic Pen[32]
- Can Create/Summon:
- The Ghosts[7]
- Black Pac-Bomb: A large black bomb with legs who circle around Pac-Man for a few seconds before blowing up whoever gets close enough. It will also respawn to blow up others who get close until it's time runs out.[4]
- Siria the Ice Dragon: A short blue dragon that flies around Pac-Man, freezing enemies close to him temporarily by breathing ice at them.[4]
- Sir Pac-a-lot: A large armored knight that protects Pac-Man by swinging his sword at an enemy close to him.[4]
- Galaga Ship: A white spaceship which circles around Pac-Man and fires energy projectiles at incoming enemies.[4]
Intelligence: Gifted (Is skilled at navigating through different mazes[2] even by jumping,[1] piloting different vehicles and outwitting opponents such as the Ghosts themselves, Toc-Man, Erwin and The Spectral Fiend by leading/tricking them into traps, getting sucked up into a energy beam from Erwin's own machine or jumping off a cliff into lava.[7] Claims that millennia old puzzles are his specialty and could easily solve them.[7] Can skillfully play a piano[14] and acted as the teacher,[18] having been trained to fight ghosts by the Pac-Master[13])
Standard Tactics: Pac-Man will start with hand-to-hand combat through punches and kicks, along with using his other abilities, shockwaves that span several meters and long range Pac-Dot throws, which he can also spam. He will eventually use his power-ups when the battle progresses or if he is being overwhelmed in a fight. If the opponent is a ghost, Pac-Man will start using his trump card, the Power Pellet (which he carries at least one with[3]), and attempt to destroy their soul by chomping them down.
Weaknesses: Most of his power-ups have short time limits, lasting for a few seconds.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Butt Bounce: Pac-Man performs a ground pound and lands butt-first into the grounded enemy, bouncing back up into the air as he summons a small shockwave. If done three times in a row, Pac-Man creates a more powerful shockwave that knocks enemies around him away.
- Rev-Roll: Pac-Man runs in place to build up momentum before launching himself towards the enemy, rolling on the ground like a ball. This also allows him to jump off of ramps.
