Summary

Jashin-chan is a devil who serves as the main protagonist of the Dropkick on my Devil! series. Jashin-chan was summoned to the mortal realm by Yurine Hanazono, who summoned her simply because she thought it would be cool. Unable to return to Hell unless Yurine either uses the return spell (which wasn't in the volume of the grimoire Yurine used) or dies, Jashin-chan repeatedly tries to kill Yurine, failing every time due to either her own lack of awareness or Yurine's vastly superior strength. Because of this, Jashin-chan often finds herself getting gored by Yurine as punishment, although she often survives thanks to her regeneration capabilities. Stuck in the mortal realm, Jashin-chan tries living life in Akihabara, hoping to one day return home.

Name: Jashin-Chan; her real name takes well over 30 minutes to recite

Origin: Dropkick on my Devil!

Gender: Female

Age: Over 7000 (Was a child when the Great Flood happened 7000 years prior to the events of the series)

Classification: Lamia, Devil

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Stealth Mastery (Concealed herself in censorship after regenerating from having been turned into mince;[1] disguised herself as a golden statue in order to get Yurine to let her guard down[2]), Weapon Mastery (Has a decent handle on a variety of weapons despite her plans often failing), Summoning (Summoned the Amazon prior to equipping her armor[3]), Acausality (Type 1, interacted with her child self without any issues,[4] kept track of 17,711 time loops,[5][6] shown awareness of a timeline split where she didn't go to Chitose in Season 2 Episode 12[7]), Longevity (Lived before the Great Flood), Immortality (Types 2, 3, and 4; as a pool of blood, she was going crazy while stuck in a suitcase[8]), Regeneration (Low-High; Jashin-chan's regeneration is a running gag throughout the show; she regenerated from having been turned into mince[1] or a pool of blood by Yurine's chainsaw[8] and reconstituted herself after having been turned into dough and cooked into a somen dish[9]; she also reformed after having turned into salt[10] and recuperated from becoming mummified after being given a bath[11]; her regeneration time varies from the length of a commercial break to 12 hours[2]), Resurrection (Self; Resurrected herself with a dropkick after being one-shotted by Yurine's snowball[10]), Time Manipulation (Not combat-applicable; unwittingly sent herself back in time with a magic circle[4]), Magic,[4][3] Aura (Can sense other supernatural beings and was even told to do so by Lierre to find a giant[9]), Rage Power (Went ballistic against Poporon when Poporon slapped her curry out of her hands[4]), Martial Arts (Had learned an incomplete version of Kenshiro's Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken in an effort to stop Yurine's dictatorship[12]), Breaking the Fourth Wall (Jashin-chan seems to do most of the fourth-wall breaking in the series, her most notable instances are her cross-referencing the anime and manga with Poporon[13] and explaining to the audience the premise of the entire series alongside Yurine during the recap episode[14]), Toon Force (Swatted a mock title card away[15]), Heat Manipulation (Used her eye beams to burn Yurine's hand[16]), minor Pain Tolerance (Ignored the fact that the thorns on Poporon's bat impaled her hands until Poporon brought it up[17]), Space Survival (Survived being in space for 19 years[3]), limited Hammerspace (Can hide a variety of stuff in the first segment of her lower half), Fusionism (Devil Fusion lets Jashin-chan fuse with various animals such as an emu,[18] a red-crowned crane,[18] a draft horse,[19] and a dolphin[9]), Fissionism (Defused from the emu as an escape attempt[18]), Free Movement (Ran along the ocean in order to get away from debt collectors), Resistance to Petrification (Like other demons and angels, she is able to hang out with Medusa with no issues), Disease Manipulation (Held off vampirism for some time after being bitten by Kyon-Kyon, likening it to a "weird disease"[13]; she also recovered from vampirism by the episode after she got bitten), Forcefield Creation (Forced her way through a barrier Yurine put up specifically to keep her out[20]), Possession (Only managed to get worn down when being possessed by 25 spirits[21]), and Poison Manipulation (Ate Basilisk Venom ice cream, which despite being processed, had Jashin-chan questioning the ice cream's safety. Jashin-chan previously stated that basilisks can kill organisms that walk near it, eliminating its need to envenomate someone with its poison[22]; also only momentarily blacked out after having eaten wolfsbane-laced foodstuff[23]) | Same as before

Attack Potency: Wall level (Capable of harming Pekola[16] and had dealt with Poporon[17]; broke Persephone II's leg with an ice ball[10]; she easily handled Ecute despite having deemed herself as the weakest, expressing great disappointment in Ecute's weakness soon after[24]), higher with human legs (Dropkicked an anthropomorphic hell bird into a stony mockup of the Statue of Liberty; noted that her kicks had become stronger soon after[17]) and with Rage Power (Knocked Poporon delirious after using her dropkick against her[4]), Building level+ with her Ultimate Dropkick (She re-entered Earth's atmosphere using this move[3]) | At least Building level+ (Should be stronger than her Ultimate Dropkick; made Yurine Hanazono take her seriously upon donning the armor[3])

Speed: Subsonic (Her dropkicks are this fast; dodged Pekola when stealing food from her[25]); High Hypersonic travel speed via Rage Power (Ran to the other side of Japan in order to throw Poporon into the ocean[4]) | Hypersonic+ (Should scale from Yurine, who dodged a grenade explosion[10])

Lifting Strength: Class 5 (Imagined herself being capable of tossing a smaller boulder than what Yurine had thrown; struggled to hold up Yurine's boulder[2])

Striking Strength: Wall level

Durability: Wall level (Confidently caught Poporon's spiked bat with her hands[17]; often survives Yurine's punishments, although said punishments typically greatly incapacitate her), at most Building level+ (She survived her lower half getting eviscerated by her own Ultimate Dropkick, although she passed out soon after[3]) | At least Building level+ (Should be more durable than before[3])

Stamina: Superhuman (Can shake the suitcase she's trapped in when she was turned into a pool of blood[8]; when she was a child, she survived dehydrating herself to the point where she turned into paper[24])

Range: Standard Melee Range | Extended Melee Range

Standard Equipment: None | The Amazon's spear

Optional Equipment: Various traps and weapons

Intelligence: Varies (situational); Jashin-chan's low intelligence usually stems from her lack of awareness as she either repeatedly tries killing Yurine despite the latter's superiority over her, or she gambles money on pachinko and horse races with the odds virtually stacked against her. Jashin-chan even accused Medusa of possibly cheating on her when she forgot that she told Medusa to not tell Yurine about her money-borrowing nonsense. She even somehow gone rabid when one of her plans failed.[2] Sometimes, Jashin-chan would have Yurine test her defenses, which never went well for her. On the other hand, Jashin-chan shown herself to be aware of the lore revolving around Hell and its creatures. Jashin-chan is noticeably a good cook, preparing a variety of dishes for Yurine and the gang. Jashin-chan baked pies to splatter into people's faces over Twitter hate comments and managed to develop her own pie recipes over it, and her baking skills even made Pino jealous.[26] Jashin-chan is shown to be skilled at crafting when she made Yurine a devil costume.[27] Jashin-chan is also pretty skilled at Taiko no Tatsujin.[21]

Standard Tactics: Jashin-chan usually goes for her dropkick whenever she had to fight someone face-to-face. Otherwise, she may resort to stealthy tactics and traps to handle her opponents, as usually is the case when trying to kill Yurine

Weaknesses: Stated herself that she would be put down for good if she specifically gets hit with a bullet through the head;[6] claimed to be unable to survive getting cooked thoroughly according to an imagine-spot by Yurine, although it was shown that she could survive if her head is left out of the equation; will cave in if she's up against stronger supernatural beings such as Yusa[25] and Lierre,[23] although this didn't necessarily stop Jashin-chan from trying to beef with them.
