Summary
Hikari Yagami and Gatomon are main characters from the Digimon Adventure series and its sequels.
Hikari is the younger sister of Taichi Yagami, a fellow Chosen Child. Unlike the other chosen children, both did not join the group until later as Hikari was not able to go to camp with the others due to an illness while Gatomon was seperated from the other partner digimon as a Digitama.
Due to being seperated from the other partner digimon as a Digitama, Gatomon hatched and waited for her partner alone. She eventually went to look for hikari and ended up in her current state while under the servitude of Myotismon. After meeting Hikari, she learned of their ties thanks to her friend Wizarmon and joins the Chosen Children.
