~ Edie Burret when left idle |
Summary
Edie Burret is one of the three playable characters and protagonists in a run-and-gun video game Elevator Action Returns (also known as Elevator Action II in North America), which was developed and published by Taito Corporation in 1994 as the sequel to a eponymous 1983 arcade classic. When she was a young little girl, Edie lost her mother who was killed in a bomb attack, before joining a paramilitary team called the D.E.F. and became it's corporal a few years later. Alongside Kart Bradfield (sergeant) and Jad the Taff (chief of special forces), she was sent to investigate and stop the plans of Red Suit's self-proclaimed terrorist organization, stealing their secret documents, obtaining computer data and defusing bombs hidden behind the doors in various locations such as skyscrapers and airports.
