- The Great Royal Sword (or the "Blade of Stormwind"[8]) was a massive, two-handed Runeblade pledged to defend the Kingdom of Stormwind. It was a massive, rune-etched glittering blade,[9] with a huge and jeweled crosspiece.[10] Despite the size and weight of the weapon, Lothar wielded it one-handed alongside a lion-head shield.[8]
During his combat with the Warchief of the Horde Orgrim Doomhammer, the sword was broken by the Doomhammer, and Lothar was defeated.[11] The blade fell from his dead grasp, though it was soon taken up by Lothar's lieutenant, the young paladin Turalyon, who used it in turn to defeat Orgrim and rally the remaining Alliance forces to victory.[12] Turalyon would later go into battle wielding the broken sword in one hand and his warhammer in the other.[13]
- A belt that had once belonged to Lothar came into the possession of the Crimson Ring, a group of slavers and gladiators in Orgrimmar, and was kept in their special armory in the Hall of Legends. The belt was claimed by Varian Wrynn, then known as the gladiator Lo'Gosh when he was allowed access to that armory. He continued to wear it after he returned to the throne of Stormwind. It may have been destroyed alongside its wearer when Varian was killed in a fel magic explosion.
- A Lion-head Shield
