Summary

Amarendra Baahubali was the Prince and successor to the throne of Mahismati empire. He is a warrior who had fought and won many wars and was looked upon as a god by the Citizen's of Mahismati. Due to his moral code of never breaking a promise, he was given the ultimatum of either becoming the King or marrying Devsena. As he kept his promise made to Devsena, his brother was crowned the King while he became the Commander-in-chief.
