Powerup State 135, otherwise known as PS135, is an antagonist created by FireMarioFan/Misfire. A sentient glitch manifesting within Super Mario World, PS135 uses the Forest of Illusions as his personal hunting grounds to kill unsuspecting victims as sustenance

Appearance[]
While disguised, PS135 perfectly resembled Mario's sprite in Super Mario World, A red shirt with blue overalls, yellow buttons, white gloves, brown shoes, and a red cap, complete with a yellow cape tied around his neck. The one notable difference being his lack of eyes
As PS135 shifts to his true form, his pallet turns a much duller shade, with his moustache becoming far more messy and unruly
PS135's true form changes to a dark green shirt and cap with brown pants. PS135's face becomes a gaping maw which houses a set of teeth and a single red eye in between. His cape becomes raged and torn and his body becomes encompassed by a green glow from behind
Personality[]
Powerup State 135 is sadistic as he appears to take glee in murdering those he manages to come across. He is also, however, intellectual, as uses his faux Mario form to lure in potential victims. Despite this he appears to hold to his deals, and will accept offers given or made, as evidenced by his deal with Bowser and him sparing Oogtar in turn of the latter becoming his servant
Abilities[]
Due to being reliant on an irregular trigger condition within the game's data, PS135 uses the various glitches at his disposal to carry out his tasks. He can utilize vessels available to him and change size at will. Powerup State 135 is also not limited to just one powerup, and has access to all powerups within the game, outside of the Starman
History[]
While it is unknown when PS135 came to the Mushroom Kingdom, nor where he came from or what he exactly is, he appears to have first taken residence in the Forest of Illusions. Using his disguise and strategy to lure victims away with the pretense of "Striking a Deal" with them, he went on a slaughter across the Mushroom Kingdom, killing Luigi, Princess Toadstool, Yoshi and Oogtar, and presumably several Toads as well. To spare his life, Bowser made a deal with sentient bug to escape from the island in exchange for leaving his army, including the Koopalings, to be left stranded and forced to survive on their own, leading to PS135 using them for his desires when on the hunt
Other Media[]
PS135 is planned to star in his own mod by FireMarioFan/Misfire, titled Funky Forest Mayhem, also called Mario Mix. In said mod. he directs his attention to Boyfriend (and eventually Charles Mariotinet) in an attempt to kill them. Notably, in this mod, PS135 previously burned down Oogtar's village. In an effort to save his life at the sake of his sanity, Oogtar offered to serve him, which PS135 accepted

- PS135's namesake and pallet are in homage to the state of the original glitch when it reaches 135
- You can find Powerup State 135 in the original Super Mario World by doing the same trick 135 times
- The Starman is the one way PS135 can die (supposedly), as collecting one will cause the glitch his form is tethered to to end, killing him
