Nightmare Medic, also known as Archdemon, is one of the overarching antagonists of the FreakShow franchise.
He appears as one of the two unseen overarching antagonists (alongside with The Original Vagineer) of The Vagi Series, the unseen overarching antagonist of both The Pyre Series and The Lost Ones, the overarching antagonist of the Kugawattan's 2015 Gmod YouTube video, The Three Shmuckfreaks: Grave Problems, and the main antagonist of the YouTube user Xho and The Demon Slayers series.
He is a tyrannical and demonic warlord, as well as the ruler of Hell and the creator of several paranormal beings, being the responsible one for the destruction that corrupt the inhabitants, devouring their souls in order to ascend through the gate between The Hell and the mortal world, becoming more powerful, and achieve godhood before destroying the Freak World, and recreating the world in his own image to have completely rule over itself. He is the archenemy of his angelic counterpart, Erzengel.
Personality[]
He is an extremely evil, cruel, wrathful, sadistic, psychopathic, power hungry, barbaric and tyrannical demon who wants nothing more than to become absolutely powerful and destroying Freak World to recreating the world into a hellish image. He is a bloodthirsty warlord who has massacred alongside with his followers many innocent lives and showed little mercy or remorse. Being the pinnacle of evil, even the most diabolical scheming freaks see Nightmare Medic as a true threat to all beings. The aura of terror emanating from the Nightmare Medic causes many to succumb to his will, willingly or unwillingly. He becomes the overlord leader of countless demonic creatures and disciples who carry out his orders without question or compromise. As the ruler of Hell, Nightmare Medic earns the respect and trust of many other demonic freaks, including BLU Nnnngh Sniper, but respect and confidence are flexible terms.
He is also shown as an intelligent and bloodthirsty demon that kills and devours the soul of every person. Considering that he is the warlord, his servants willing or unwilling follow him. This is mostly due to his enjoyment of destruction, death and war only because of his pleasure to murder and death people. Despite this, he is shown to be very intelligent, because even if he dies, Erzengel and the other demon slayers will die as well.
He is also uncompromising and terrifying, instilling fear in his enemies and often instilling confidence in his most distant allies. Though loyal sovereign, even Sentinel display a crouching bondage to Nightmare Medics, often unwilling to incur the Demon Lord's wrath. While Nightmare Medic typically act solitary, he usually uses a large army of minions to distract potential enemies and commits atrocities to further strengthen himself. Wherever Nightmare Medic goes, a great darkness follows him, as if the whole scene is submerged in night. He even lacks feelings towards his servant, whilst he will serve them to his last breath, he will perfectly content to let his servants die, and even finds pleasure in slaughtering and punishing them when he feels like it. After Sentinel and Behemoth are used, it is believed that the Nightmare Medic will eventually dispose of them.
Nightmare Medic has a very distinctive voice. Thunder in depth and range. He often speaks in a demonic language that sounds similar in some respects to Vagineers. The rest of his vocabulary consists of deafening, inhuman roars and ominous laughter. Roars tend to be closer to the sounds of pain and anger.
Biography[]
Background[]
Since ancient times, Nightmare Medic has existed in one way or another. After he was cast back to hell by Erzengel, it seemed like an eternal war was about to start between them. A little over 700 years ago, a Satanic cult believed that Nightmare Medic known as Archdemon was the harbinger of the end of the world as they knew it and could begin new worlds and reshape them to their images. Thus began the cult of occult practices and dark magic that summoned the Archdemon into the world hundreds of years later. It turns out that Archdemon needs a host to interact. One particularly pious prophet gave his body and summoned his Archdemon, who traveled the world in a new body and named himself the Nightmare Medic.
Three hundred years later, one of his RED Medics became obsessed with the occult and freaks of his world's "transmutation". RED Medic and his apprentices began enlisting for interest, loyalty, and ultimately manipulation. These medics are demon apprentices. RED Medic wore a Planeswalker helmet similar in appearance to the Devil, while attempting to invoke a world-destroying ritual by summoning demons. The disciples and RED medic summoned a demonic executioner. This demon possessed his RED Medic spirit and turned him into a malevolent entity he rightly knows. The Archdemon immediately devoured the souls of the disciples in his vicinity, yet not hindering their commitment to their master nor their numbers.
Battle against TF2 Freaks[]
After harboring the body of a RED Medic and being freed from Hell, he triggered multiple exploits in the world of TF2 Freak and began slaughtering everyone he encountered. Encountered the BLU Nnnngh Sniper. He soon left, but he soon allied himself with the devil. He eventually became the mortal enemy of Erzengel, resulting in a duel between the two, with neither side gaining the upper hand until Erzengel was rescued by the Dream Demoman. Nightmare Medic later created Sentinel and Behemoth to further his destructive cause.
At one point, he encountered Painis Cupcake and fought him. Like the Erzengel, the Nightmare Medic wounded Painis Cupcake and the Cannibal activated his self-overload and attacked the Demon Lord. Until then, the two were on par. Frustrated, the latter unleashed his powers on Painis, knocking him unconscious, butquickly regaining consciousness and punching him in the chest, forcing the Nightmare Medic to retreat.
Later, during his time at Thunder Mountain, he faced a certain BLU Vagineer named Bugler and fought him. Nightmare Medic initially had the upper hand thanks to his demonic powers, but was eventually killed by the BLU Vagineer, with a strong resentment of his defeat. Sometime later, he encountered Vagineer again, after the demonic warlord tricked him into a trap set by Infierno and sent him to Hell. released and tormented him as a revenge for killing him in the first place.
The Demon Slayers[]
At an unknown point, he became an enemy of the Demon Slayers, especially their leader Reaper. At Sawmill, he encountered Warrior, one of the Demon Slayers who fought him, but the Nightmare Medic got the upper hand and killed him from behind.
Much later, when he makes contact with the Reaper, he engages him in a fierce battle with the Harvest. Eventually he defeated the Reaper, cutting off his right arm despite sustaining multiple wounds, but was stopped by Spanner before he could finish him off, and the Reaper enlisted the help of Mender. Enraged, the Nightmare Medic engulfs the entire map in flames.
After Soul Scout, Mender, and Spanner defeated the Nightmare Medic's most feared minion, Sentinel, a disgruntled Nightmare Medic arrived shortly after the battle, but before the demonic warlord could deal with them. The trio quickly withdrew. He later meets Soul Scout and Mender, who were investigating a series of murders, and both join the fight. Retreat both Scout and Mender again. At some point, the hellish warlord will recruit his Pyre as an ally, possibly making him his servant. A short time later, he will commission two of his apprentices to upgrade and improve the Behemoths, making him stronger than ever.
Powers and Abilities[]
Being the embodiment of pure evil, the Nightmare Medic is widely regarded as one of the most powerful beings the TF2 Freak World has ever seen. at the height of his power. He is one of the few god-like figures. As Ruler of Hell, the Nightmare Medic wields limitless metaphysical powers - as demonstrated in The Three Shmuckfreaks: Grave Problems, even freaks of legendary strength like the Bugler can overcome his own. Freaks who ended up there due to their evil nature or Infierno's trickery either became slaves to Nightmare Medic, will or were sent back to the world of the living. Although it continues to wreak havoc, Nightmare Medic finds the latter for fun. Nightmare Medic have near-infinite destructive power, but their powers are far from being realized. Nightmare Medic still has incredible powers in the living world, but Nightmare Medic's powers are limited outside of Hell. However, he still possesses physical strength that only Painis Cupcake and The Bugler can match, and has various demonic abilities, including extremely powerful pyrokinesis, telekinesis, teleportation, and the ability to summon demons from Hell. Its also provided. To assert itself outside Hell, the Nightmare Medic devours the souls of the living. This temporarily increases his power, but not to match his power in his own realm. Although not scientifically trained, Nightmare Medic's intelligence lies in its mastery of the occult. Creator of many minions, including Infierno, Sentinel, and Behemoth, Nightmare Medic employs the methods of dark magic and evil science to achieve their physical world goals. His disciples follow the same conventions, many of which were ordained by the Demon Lord himself.

- Transcendent God and Archdemon Lord Physiology: As the ruler of Hell, Nightmare Medic was born a divine demon, granting him godly superhuman powers. Already beyond most freaks and demons, his acquiring of the power of Evil and becoming a true all-powerful god, dramatically enhanced Nightmare Medic's powers, allowing him to become one of the most powerful entities in the Freak universe, surpassing and killing all the Angels and humans. Even after having host a body, he remains terrifyingly powerful, even if his powers are limited in the mortal world.
- Superhuman Strength: Nightmare Medic's godlike physical power is often seen as one of his main powers. However, his power depends on his avatar. Despite the fluctuations in his power, his strength alone is a force to be reckoned with. He can easily smash rocks, lift extremely heavy objects, destroy huge objects, defeat very strong characters, especially living creatures, has the ability to bend and break any man-made object, and easily destroy huge powerful infrastructure. His strength is that he can easily take down an entire Demon Slayer, including heavy hitters like Reaper and Erzengel.
- Superhuman Speed: Nightmare Medic is incredibly fast, capable of matching the likes of Erzengel who has the speed of lightning, Reaper, Soul Scout, Spanner and Mender. It is nearly untraceable and un trackable, to the point that when he moves, he can appear from one place to another until it was already too late for the person to notice his presence and appeared behind his opponents to catch them off-guard.
- Superhuman Stamina: Nightmare Medic possesses an almost unlimited number of stamina compared to a mortal man and normal freak, allowing him to remain constantly active for days, weeks, months, or years without tiring. He should expend all his stamina, he only momentarily requires rest or souls to restore it.
- Superhuman Durability and Endurance: Nightmare Medic is extremely durable, capable of withstanding greats explosions and walking away unharmed, getting crushed, stabbed, beaten, blasted, and burned by various enemies and traps without any lasting damage. In addition, blows from most other extremely physically powerful opponents have little-to-no effect against him.
- Superhuman Senses: Nightmare Medic senses are heightened, which make him aware of his surroundings and to sense danger when it's near.
- Pyrokinesis: He was capable of emitting heat and fires and was capable of burning every place he goes.
- Telekinesis: He was able to kill many of the inhabitants by mutilated and decapitated all of them with his mind and hands.
- Teleportation: He was capable of went in everyplace he has been. If Nightmare Medic "starves to death", he will be forced to retreat to the underworld.
- Immortality: He has been existed since before or possibly during the dawn of creation. Having been lived for century if not ancient of years. His true form has existed even longer in Hell, a hellish outside of overworld that surrounds our own world, and he predated the humans and other supernatural beings including most of the angels themselves. However, he is heavily implied that his true form still exists within Hell and is eternal and can never truly be killed. This means that he could send another physical vessel of Itself to repeat the process on Earth again.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Nightmare Medic's highly indestructible and invulnerable to some ways possible. He is able to resist and has a high tolerance to pain and injury. The only things who can affects him in some way are holy objects and weapons but it takes a great force to hurt him.
- Possession: He also has the ability to possess people, which was shown when it possessed a RED Medic in order to get back his physical form by transitioning from body to another. The person will be possessed by his soul and still maintaining his abilities, he can only be reborn through another, he can also possess other people through oral contact leaving the former host to gruesomely kill away.
- Telepathy: Nightmare Medic was capable of communicating with others through telepathy and even inducing mental pain in those he came into contact with.
- Animakinesis: He was capable of steal the souls of others and bend the to his will. he devours the souls to make him more powerful for his tyranny.
- Necrokinesis: He used black magic to summon the spirits of the dead, which he used with the Menn of Mystery, summoning them to act his will.
- Umbrekinesis: He can also employ illusionary tactics such as creating clones to further intimidate his enemies or covering an area with darkness to make himself less noticeable.
- Essokinesis: He was capable to transform the world into nightmarish versions and even hellish recreations. His existence is often range from his power over Hellfire to his ability to bring reality closer to Hell in his so-called Inferno Inferno State. It draws people in and allows him to gain an edge over them, but the Inferno State gives the Nightmare Medic a god-like effect on his surroundings, warping and crumbling the world.
- Ergokinesis: He has complete control over the destructive force of his powers. He channels the greatest energy to get stronger and each time he uses it makes him a full on powerhouse. He used dark energy to destroy town and the entire Freak World.
- Infernokinesis: He can create and control a cursed hellfire that can completely destroy everything. The color of the flame varies, but it can be black, blue, white or the usual shades of fire, although somewhat unusual. Sometimes the flame isn't created but called from the depths of hell. Hellfire can cause excruciating pain on contact or instant death, eventually even shooting balls of hellfire for relatively benign purposes, such as temporarily summoning the spirits of the dead from hell to the world of the living.
- Power Absorption: He has the innate ability to absorb any power from any being he has killed, which gives him several powers that he has used on his quests.

- Trickery: Nightmare Medic was a master of trickery, he used Infierno to fool The Bugler Vagineer into taking the gift only to dragging him to the Hell.
- Great-level intellect: Despite his wrathful side, he knows what his creation should have so that he can make his monsters useful for his wars. He was behind many atrocities, but people and freaks didn't know because he orchestrated them behind the scenes. He is crafty and possesses an exceptional intelligent mind with extensive knowledge about science and black magic. Even when he was an expert of mastery of the occult and was the most feared of them all, he was still able to influence others behind the scenes, as he was behind the reincarnation of Vagipyro, who was now Pyre.
- Swordsmanship: He is highly skilled swordsmen, as his weapons are orbs of chaotic energy that manifest primarily in his sword and scythe, allowing Nightmare his Medic to adapt to combat situations. His signature weapon is a giant blade called Tenebris. The weapon itself has a weight that slows the Nightmare Medic. His weapon can shapeshift into virtually any shape and can take on any mass. Weapons slide over his body and are believed to use his powers when needed. However, much of his melee combat relies on his ability to deflect lethal damage.
