Revival[]
Unknown to Gage, Jason, Louis, or even Ellie, Jud was taken to the BluTango Inc facility, and was placed in a freezing pod next to Timmy and Rachel. After both of them were revived, it was Jud's turn, and after his resurrection, he killed the CEO, Will Rickardson. After his death, Jud, now known as Hush after stealing several bandages and a trenchcoat, went with Timmy Baterman, now known as Bane, along with Rachel Creed, went to the Creed family car, and after it was revealed that the keys fell out during the struggle, they were picked up, and Hush decided to use the car for his and his team's criminal activities.
Explaining his plan and crime spree[]
5 years later, he explained his plan to Rachel and Bane. After that, he, Rachel, and Bane walked out to the car, and drove off with it. On the channel ABC7, it was shown the trio committing crimes by robbing stores.
At the We Out hiking trail[]
Unknown to anyone present, Hush was recording Rachel shooting Gage in the back, and intends to upload it to YouTube.
The trip back to the lair[]
Hush and Bane then start to come up with their next plan, agreeing to strike again the following day. After being asked about Rachel, Hush told Bane that she was nothing more than a liability.
Kidnapping Ellie Creed[]
The next day, Hush and Bane were following Jason Todd/Red Hood, Ellie Creed, and Gage Creed (who had recovered from his gunshot wounds) to their home. While Bane is busy with Red Hood, and Hush ran into Ellie's room, then forced her to smell the chloroform rag he had. After Bane's defeat, Hush made it out of the house with Ellie, and sped off to his lair, with Red Hood following behind.
Attempted lobotomization of Ellie[]
After arriving at his lair, Ellie demanded for Hush to let her go, and after his refusal, she asked him why, then Hush revealed that he's targeting her for killing him when Ellie was a zombie. After pulling out the Dremel Micro 8050 out of his garbage bag full of his weapons and putting the rotary attachment on, he turned it on and decided to use it in an attempt to lobotomize Ellie. However, a shot rang out and damaged the Dremel. It was Red Hood.
Final showdown and ultimate death[]
After Red Hood freed Ellie and told her to wait in the car, he and Hush engaged in a brutal showdown inside his lair, and during the fight, one of the weapons, a KelTec KSG 12 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun was. Then, Red Hood approached him. Hush then explained that all he wanted was payback against Ellie for what she did to him. Red Hood, who, out of a desire to protect Ellie and Gage, shot Hush in the back and then the head, killing him.
Legacy[]
Even after Hush's death, Ellie now has the villain attempting to lobotomize her being added to her trauma, and after Jason Todd suggests for her to write a book on her kidnapping.
Personality[]
Jud Crandall was once the wise old man neighbor that anyone would have been happy to know. He lived a long life and saw a lot of everything– but nothing prepared him for the occult horror that brewed in the house across the road.
After his revival and acceptance of his new criminal identity as Hush, he had descended into becoming a violent psychopath that had no trouble with killing anyone. Overall, Hush has shown cowardice, as revealed when Hush attempted to justify his actions by claiming that all he wanted was payback against Ellie, but Jason Todd/Red Hood doesn't fall for it, resulting in Hush's defeat and ultimate death.
