Dr. Madge Honey Badger is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Big Butechini) of the Zootopia Powerverse, being a supporting antagonist of the 2021 fanfilm Zootopia: Rise to Power and the main antagonist of it's short sequel Zootopia: Power of Extinction. She is a loyal and strict minion of Mayor Lionheart and the cunning manager incharge of the Cliffside Asylum. However, despite her villainous nature and her ultimate flaws, she became remorseful near the film's climax as she was seen standing up infront of Lionheart, thus becoming enemies with her boss.

After she was in jail, Doctor Honey Badger started planning her revenge as she instigated the deaths and kidnapping cases of many citizens of Zootopia.

History[]

Zootopia: Rise to Power[]

Dr. Honey Badger was formerly a doctor in Zootopia, up until the moment in which Lionheart has given her a task; to develop for him an ultimate weapon in the form of a serum which will turn his opposition savage so that he could be easily remain mayor and punish those who voted against him or opposed him in any other way. Madge has accepted Lionheart's task, but she felt remorse, as she did realize that Bellwether was right all the time. Eventually, she and Lionheart met inside the asylum, and she stood up against her boss for the citizens, reminding him that Bellwether wanted them to cure the disease. Lionheart then reminds her that he is the mayor and that they were both on a scheme to turn the opposing animals savage, and he asks her one more time if she is in or out of his scheme.

However, while Judy was recording them, her phone rang, and as a result Lionheart and Dr. Badger tried to escape from custody and lock them in the asylum with their evidence.

Along with her possibly former boss Lionheart, Dr. Madge Honey Badger was arrested despite her remorse and honorable traits.

Zootopia: Power of Extinction[]

After being released from prison due to her acts of honor which are still considered by the public and the ZPD, Dr. Badger is called for help by Judy, Nick and their new ally Mr. Pegasus.

She told Judy and Nick about Don Karlo's plans; according to her reports Karlo and his right-hand gangster Fang Fred were on the run as they have formed a large alliance called The Order of Extinction and they hired Exterminators of Extinction with a promise that they will be able to paralyze and then eat other animals regardless of their sizes.

Doctor Badger told Judy and Nick about Karlo's plans including the fact that he and his enforcers are also planning to release Lionheart from his cell. She told them that she doesn't know of any further plans and begs them to stop all the trouble from happening.

Later, Don Karlo captures the badger scientist as a pose so that the public will think that he is the culprit behind it all. All of this happened while Judy, Nick and Pegasus were interrogating Fang Fred.

However, unexpectedly, when Judy and Nick come to rescue her, she revealed that she is the mastermind who formed the alliance as her rank among them was The Exterminator Leader.

As she showed her true colors, she immediately shot Karlo with a night howler gun, thus either killing him or paralyzing him for a long time. Judy is shocked and she asks Badger why she did this. Badger reveals that she ordered her men to release Lionheart only to cause chaos so she won't be caught red handed. In reality, she used them for her own purposes so that she could rise to power and usurp Judy's position with Lionheart being accused instead of her, despite the fact that he never escaped.

After being revealed as the organization's leader and the one behind the terror attacks in Zootopia, Judy arrested her for her massive crimes once again.

Personality[]

Dr. Honey Badger is a conflicted criminal mastermind who joins Lionheart for money and power, but doesn't fully follow his principals and agendas, and she even feels remorse for her crimes and dares to stand up to Lionheart. However, as Judy and Nick were spotted in the asylum, Badger acted like a selfish coward and ran out of the asylum with the mayor, thus locking both Judy and Nick up just so they won't show Bogo the evidence. She paid for her crimes despite her remorse and honorable traits. She also cared for the citizens despite her ruthlessness and her alliance with Lionheart.

However, this has all changed since they have put Dr. Badger in prison, and as an act of vengeance, she pretended to help Judy and Nick to stop Don Karlo and the secret Exterminator Leader whom plotted to change the food chain by killing animals before eating them, and all of this was a façade so she could stay out of prison and shift the blame onto Lionheart, who is now her big-time enemy. Infact, she was revealed to be The Exterminator Leader; the one who plotted to wreak havoc on Zootopia after Lionheart's arrest.

Despite her being an evil tyrant, Lionheart is still much worse than she is, mainly because he was the one who lead her to the path of revenge and terror.
