Chick Hicks is a major antagonist in the Shovelware universe, specifically being the main antagonist of SAVE LIGHTNING MCQUEEN!! Adventure Obby. (later renamed to The Big Race Obby)
Like his original counterpart, he attempts to beat Lightning McQueen in a race, and attempts to use any cheating and unlawful means necessary to win.
Appearance[]
Chick Hicks is a green 1979 Shyster Cremlin. His sponsor is Hostile Takeover Bank, with it appearing on his hood, while his racing number is 86. He has a bunch of stickers on his sides, and most notably, his grille as his mustache.
Biography[]
Chick Hicks first appears at the racetrack, where he sabotaged Lightning McQueen beforehand by removing all of his tires. He then plays it off like he didn't do it and mocks McQueen. During the obby, the player goes through the town of Radiator Springs, only for Chick to appear at the end. He enforces the law on the residents, including the player since Sheriff is out of town, and places all of them under arrest, hauling them off to prison.
While in the prison, Mater assists in opening the player's jail cell and the latter then makes their escape, while Chick commands the guards to put the complex under lockdown. After adventuring through the prison, Chick alongside a few of his lackey catch the player escaping, and force them to wait in a room while he fixes their cell. The room that Chick assigned the player to wait it so happened to contain the release button, allowing all the residents of Radiator Springs to escape.
Eventually at the racetrack during the climax, Chick Hicks is near the finish line, before Owen Wilson breaks out of McQueen and gives the player the guitar to stop the cheater. Chick then attempts cross the finish line before the player uses the power of music to foil his victory, while Wilson crosses the finish line before him.
Chick then gets subsequently arrested as Sheriff arrives back at Radiator Springs and impounded in Tow Mater's Towing & Salvage. If approached, Chick vows his revenge on the player.

- This version of Chick Hicks could be considered much more vile than his original counterpart.
- While the original Chick was guilty for multiple acts of unsportsmanlike conduct, (and was otherwise only simply an egotistical jerk outside of racing) Shovelware Studios' incarnation of Chick actively antagonizes the residents of Radiator Springs and commits crimes outside of his racing career. (which included falsely imprisoning all the residents, and if noticed on a bulletin board, attempt to wipe out the entire human race)
