Tablo is a major antagonist of the Japanese Light Novel series The Weakest Beast Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash. He is the abusive-yet-disowned father of the main protagonist of Ivy. He is also the one of three arch-enemies and abusers of his disowned eldest daughter, Fecilla.

He was voiced by Shun'ichi Toki in Japanese and Dallas Reid and Bryson Baugus in English.

Overview[]

Tablo is a carpenter of Latomi Village. He is the husband of Furefe. He is the father of Feton, Fecilla (his archenemy) and Ivy (formerly known as Femicia). He once had a happy life with his family. But when he learned Ivy is a Starless, Tablo abused his daughter and disowned. He join the Village Chief of Latomi in attempted to kill Ivy with no sheds of love for her but she escaped.

After Ivy escaped, Tablo and his family were in a terrible situation at the Latomi Village when the Crops are dried up and the fruits is rotten. Unlike the other residents who eventually left their homes due the Village Head's delusions and incompetence, Tablo and his family remained at Latomi.

Soon later, Tablo and his family abused and accused Fecilla (his eldest daughter) due to the Village Head's law of those having weaker stars are inferior as the Starlesses. This caused his daughter, Fecilla to abandoned her love and respects for her family. Tablo, Furefu and Futon were soon arrested and sentenced to a mine as criminal slaves for both Tablo and Furefu 55 years which means the rest of their life and Futon 38 years when Fecilla notified the Latome Village's knights of their crimes. Fecilla was taken in under the wing of Oguto (the captain of the knights) as Fecilla's adoptived father while she disowned Tablo, Furefu and Futon as her family.

Personality[]

Initially, he was a family loving man.

In reality, Tablo is a delusional, hypocrite, paranoid, dimwitted and cowardly fool when he blindly follows the Idiot Head's law of that Starless as "curses" and weaker star people as inferior. He is very abusive to his daughters. He physically abused his youngest daughter, Femicia (now known as Ivy) and disowned her as his daughter for being a Starless. He also abused his eldest daughter, Fecilla and accused her for being weak the same way as Ivy.

In the end however, he will suffer his miserable life as a slave at a mine for 55 years for all the crimes he committed towards his daughters, these years would mean he will definitely die in old age which will be a well deserve punishment for Tablo.

He has no qualities of redemption and has no remorse on his actions upon his daughters.
