When Hinelar's plans keep failing, Javious is enraged and promises the consequences so Yugande plans to separate each Megaranger, as he knows they are arrogant and divided. Yugande successfully traps Kenta and, although MegaRed is quite strong, Yugande easily defeats and almost kills him until Kouichirou Endou helps his teammate. Yugande injuries Kouichirou, making his helmet shatter, forced the Megarangers to retreat. Yugande uses his illusion special techniques to overpower Galaxy Mega but Chisato uses the Galaxy Search to find the real Yugande and knock him back to normal with the Saber Electronic Whip. Weakened, Yugande is easily destroyed by the Mega Flying Cutter, killing Yugande for first time.

Dr Hinelar takes this opportunity to reveal his true nature, by forcing them to fight against their power, which leads to their deaths and the end of Javious too.

Hinelar creates two Thorn-Needle Nezilar and Illusion Nezilar to aid him, and briefly succeeds; even Hinelar then trapping the Megarangers in data cards but, unbeknownst to him, the Nezirangers souls are merged through his machines, retaining their physical forms. The Nezirangers rebel against Hinelar and managed to claim his data cards. She initially refuses because she knows that the NeziReactor makes him stronger at the cost of his life but Yugande pressures Shibolena, and she eventually complies; turning Yugande into a red and extremely powerful form dubbed Burning Yugande. Yugande blasts it down only to be shot Galaxy Mega.
Despite being outnumbered, Yugande decimates the Giant Robos and completely destroys Delta Mega before attacking the Earth with the Megarangers being forced to fight him alone in Galaxy Mega. The five Megarangers fight despirately but Yugande breaks the Mega Saber his sword and cripples the mecha. Before he can finish them off however, the critical mass NeziReactor begins to short out, which causes Yugande to shrink down and become extremely weak. Yugande refuses to surrender and challenges the five Megarangers but is swiftly defeated by their teamwork. Shibolena appears and protects Yugande from Kenta's Red's Drill Saber at the cost of her own life. Grief stricken and enraged, Yugande blasts and charges at Denta only to be struck successively by Kenta's Rizer Punch, Rizer Chop and Drill Saber Saber Slash, killing him for good.
