Nåzhdak of the Eternal Hunt is a major antagonist in the SCP mythos. He is the second of the Eight Princes of Corbenic, and a deity of wildlife and ferality. Not much is known about him, but he is said to have a fixation on a Corbenese species called pantagruels, the species of SCP-UBU. Current research on him has been halted due to an incident implied to be caused by Nåzhdak himself.

He is the overarching antagonist in the SCP-001 (D. Ulysses Foole's Proposal).

Appearance[]

Nåzhdak is depicted as a ferret with seven heads, holding a saxophone-like device.

Biography[]

Nåzhdak was one of the Eight Gods that was born from the Prince of Princes, the original deity and first ever living being to die in the universe. He then became the lord of ferality and wildlife, looking over his favorite Corbenese species, the pantagruels.

Nåzhdak began to favor one of the weaker pantagruels, a runt who would later be designated SCP-UBU. Aiding UBU, he isolated Earth from every other dimension and forced immortality upon every living being on the planet, so UBU could torture them for eternity.

After a ten million year long war between Laurence Michaud and UBU, the pantagruel would later be killed by a Three Moons Initiative agent called Karma thee Frog, and another agent from the organization would warn the Foundation about future pantagruels and mentioned Nåzhdak's disturbing obsession with them.

Nåzhdak is implied to be responsible for SCP-7922, a phenomenon in which those who contract rabies in paralytic phase and given access to any device that lets them creat visual art or poetry. This will let those affected to start praising Nåzhdak and going insane, before dying of cardiac arrest after an hour. These messages range from written screams of pain and repeated praises towards the deity. The latest affected victim, Foundation researcher Edwin Wallace, was executed after Nåzhdak seemingly asked him for multiple secret Foundation password codes including a site nuclear warhead. This implies that Nåzhdak intends on attacking the Foundation, if it really was him who made the victims of SCP-7922 go insane.

Powers and Abilities[]

Being a god of Corbenic, Nåzhdak has some control over part of the afterlife, specifically the "Eternal Hunt". He was also able to trap and isolate Earth from other dimensions and bestowing some power to SCP-UBU, which implies an ability to warp reality. SCP-7922 seems to also imply that Nåzhdak possesses mind altering abilities that lets the phenomenon's victims start praising and helping him.
