Monty is a minor antagonist in the 2024 Fallout television series. He is a member of Vault 32 selected to be the husband to Lucy MacLean from Vault 33. It is later revealed that he is one of Lee Moldaver's raiders sent to raid Vault 33 and capture Lucy's father Hank.
He was portrayed by Cameron Cowperthwaite.
Biography[]
Monty came from Vault 32, the neighbors of the nearby Vault 33. Lucy MacLean, the daughter of Vault 33's leader Hank MacLean, requests to the council with an application for a marriage with a man from Vault 32 to ensure the continuation of her Vault. As such, the people of Vault 32 trade Monty as a "breeder". Lucy and Monty get married before he carries her to her room where they make love. Postcoital, he gets out of bed and drinks water from a glass pitcher.
Little did any of them know, the visitors from Vault 32 were not their neighbors, but rather raiders who killed the actual members and disguised themselves. Hearing screams outside her room as the raiders start to kill the people of Vault 33, Lucy puts on her Pip-Boy to discover that Monty contained a high radiation level, making her realize that Monty was from the surface. As she knew too much, Monty attacks Lucy with a knife hidden in his bag, managing to stab her in the abdomen. Just as he could strangle her to death, Lucy grabs the pitcher and smashes it against his head, before slicing his face with its shards, causing him to fall to the ground.
After treating her wound, Lucy rushes to the crop field room and saves her brother Norm from the other raiders, only for Monty to return and attempt to strangle her again. Hank arrives and bashes Monty with a shovel before shoving him head first in a barrel of pickling vinegar, drowning him.
