Moash, later known as Vyre is one of the main antagonists of The Stormlight Archive, by Brandon Sanderson. He was a Darkeyes who became a member of Bridge Four. However, after betraying the team he ends up joining the Singer army and becomes known as Vyre.

Early Life[]

Moash was born a Darkeyes. He was raised by his grandparents. A lord named Roshone arrested his grandparents in order to take their business. They died in prison. Moash blamed King Elhokar for this and swore revenge.

Stormlight Archive[]

Moash joined the war against the Singers, hoping to win a Shardblade. Due to his Darkeyes status, he was sent to work in Bridge 4 in the army of [{Torol Sadeas]]. As a Bridgeman, he was forced to run, holding a bridge, while in the line of arrow-fire during battles. When Kaladin joined Bridge 4, he tried to instill discipline and training into the group. Moash initially resented Kaladin and rebelled against him. Kaladin decided to make Moash a subsqaud leader in Bridge 4, saying he respected Moash's strong will. WHen Kaladin started training the Bridge crew to use a spear, Moash eagerly joined the training. Moash was one of the most talented when it came to using the spear.

When Kaladin helped Adolin battle four other fighters in a duel, Adolin rewarded Kaladin with a Shardblade and Shardplate. Kaladin was resistant to accepting and gave them to Moash. Later, Moash was approached by Graves, a servant of Taravangian. Graves offered Moash a chance to kill Elhokar. Moash manageto get Kaladin to agree to help him. However, Kaladin later changed his mind and ended up stopping Moash, forcing Moash to flee.

WHile on the run, Moash was attacked by the Fused. Moash anaged to kill one of the Fused's hosts, which impressed the group. They captured Moash and made him a slave. He chose to do more menial labor for the Fused and defended the Listener slaves of the Fused. The Fused allowed him to join them as a soldier. His name was changed ot Vyre He joined the attack on Kholinar. There he finally managed to kill Elhokar, right in front of Kaladin.

Vyre was part of the force that captured Urithiru. He kidnapped Kaladin's family to use as bait. Teft and Lift attacked him, so he killed Teft and wounded Lift. Moash then tried to kill Navani but was stopped by Raboniel. Navani restored the power to Urithiru and Moash's guilt returned to him, Moash fled and fell off the tower, breaking his spine. The Fused healed him, but he was blind.
