The Marshmallow Jamen is one of two antagonists (the other is a Hassha Ligany) in episode 16 of the 2020 TV series Mashin Sentai Kiramager. He is a silver body marshmallow-themed Jamenshi of Dark Empire Yodonheim whose dark energy was used to release the Hassha Ligany. It is considered as Takamichi Crystalia’s worst enemy, due to his childhood trauma towards marshmallows.
He is voiced by Masaya Onosaka who previously voiced the Clock Shadow from 2016 movie called Ressha Sentai ToQger vs. Kyoryuger: The Movie.
History[]
The Marshmallow Jamen made his first appearance at the Tsukayama Porcelain Works Collection as he used his own ability as he transformed two frightful civilians into marshmallow as his fellow Bechats collect the transformed civilian and placed them in a jar (which is his other arsenal btw) and he even three more civilians into marshmallows until the Kiramager showed up to battle him. As he told his scheme to the Kiramager as he planned to transformed the remaining population into marshmallows because Carantula likes to eat marshmallow which is a bit ridiculous for a villain.
However once Takamichi arrived to join the fight, but here's the catch he has a childhood trauma with the marshmallows and since he's battling the Marshmallow Jamen this makes him the worst villain for Takamichi to beat. So once they're done with the roll call the team battles the Marshmallow Jamen while Takamichi has flashback to his high school days before he became the adopted son of King Oradin. A while later during the fight Tametomo and Sayo tries to open fire on the Marshmallow Jamen, but guess what due to elastic nature of his marshmallow-like body those attack just bounced off of him along with the sword attack. After the failed attack the Marshmallow Jamen left the area with his "marshmallow" in tow.
A while later the Marshmallow Jamen has arrived at the Akiho's concert hall as he transformed more civilians into marshmallows. As he sent the Bechats to get the civilians from hiding they were then sneaked attacked by the arrival of Shiguru and Sayo, but they're attacks won't do any good on this jamen so he used this opportunity as he open fired on the team forcing them to go into defense. Once Sena takes Takamichi towards Akiho so he can apologized to her giving the others to hopelessly battle against this Marshmallow Jamen. Thankfully Tametomo arrived into the battle with this new arsenal called Ice Bullet and guess what due to this new weaponry the Marshmallow Jamen has lost his elasticity making more vulnerable to attacks now as he forced to used his Numade against the team.
A while later during the fight with the Marshmallow Jamen it was quickly interrupted by the arrival of the Hassha Ligany as he and the Kiramagers were suddenly bombarded by the Hassha Ligany's missiles. Once Magellan has clogged the Hassha Ligany's ability the battle between the Kiramager and the Marshmallow Jamen resumed without interruptions.
Once Takamichi has gotten over his fear of marshmallows he battle the Marshmallow Jamen alone while the others brings out Kiramazin to battle against the Hassha Ligany. After that the Marshmallow Jamen was then destroyed by this finisher called Shining Beam Attack around the same time as the Hassha Ligany was destroyed by this finisher called Magellan Full Blast thus reverting the civilians that were transformed into marshmallows back into their human selves.
