NOTE: This article is dedicated to the organization known as Lord Tensen. Not to be confused with the species that can be found here: Tensens.

Lord Tensen are the main antagonists of the manga/anime series Hell's Paradise. They consiste of 7 supreme beings known as Tensens who possessed supernatural abilities who held dominion over Kotaku and were very often told in legends by humans.

These seven members of the Tensen spent their time studying and practicing the ways of Taoism in order to achieve perfect immortality and create the fabled Elixir of Life.

Description[]

They were being viewed by the Hōko as divine beings and believed that they were born when a Sennin divided himself into seven entities after achieving enlightenment. However, this belief was later revealed to be a fabricated legend created by the Tensen themselves as part of their research on the Hōko.

Because of the Tensen's pursuit of immortality and the Elixir of Life ultimately led to their downfall as they became corrupted by their desire for eternal life. Their actions caused chaos and destruction in Kotaku, leading to their eventual defeat by a group of warriors known as the Mushikari.

Ranks[]

Sennin are being classified and divided into 5 ranks depending on their of the Taoism’s Five Training Methods for Immortality : Dōshi, Chisen, Jōsen, Shinsen, and Tensen. Tensen is the highest and most powerful rank that the Sennin can reaches. The Tensens, who was born from the Flower Tao, possess an extraordinary ability to regenerate their bodies. They have the power to heal any damage inflicted on them, regardless of its severity. This includes the regrowth of lost limbs and even their entire heads. The regeneration process is manifested through the emergence of vines with unique flowers, which vary for each Tensen, from their bodies. These vines restore what was lost to its original state.

Sennin views other beings especially humans as lower life form with their own kind being the strongest as a result after centuries of trainings in Taoism that gave them tremendous abilities that are also being viewed as god-like abilities by humans. They view human beings mostly and only as sources that they can use to recharge and produce Tan as well as for their own entertainments. However when a human shows strong capabilities, they shows no arrogancies. The only one of the species that display no hostility is Mei. Abilities[]

Their regenerative ability are a result of their connection to Flower Tao, being the source of life and vitality. It is also believed to be a manifestation of the natural world's energy and is associated with growth and renewal. Furthermore these abilities made them formidable opponents in battles, as they can quickly recover from injuries that would be fatal to others. However, this power also makes them valuable allies in times of need, as they can heal themselves and others.

However during the fight of Mu Dan against the Yamada Sagiri, Senta, and Yuzuriha, Sagiri manage discover Mu Dan's weakness that is located on his stomach in which resulted him to unable to heal unlike other part of his body who takes damages which will instantly recover.
