Kagero is a character from the game One Piece: World Seeker and Zorro's antagonist in the DLC: The Void Mirror Prototype. He was a combat robot created by Isaac and was intended to serve as reinforcement for his battle suit, but was destroyed by Zorro during the testing phase.
Appearance[]
Kagero was a combat robot and was slightly larger than the average human. It was made identically to Isaac's main armor with differences in coloring. Kagero had silver armor and green light radiated from within him. In self-destruct mode, the green turned into a red, flickering glow.
Powers and Abilities[]
Kagero has been able to learn the movement patterns and techniques of people he observes. Using the combat data that Isaac collected in the fight with Zorro, he was able to learn his fighting style and counteract it. Even special techniques initially had no effect. He could even acquire Kizaru's skills after watching him fight Zorro. He was even capable of creating two "lightsabers" and, to a certain extent, imitate the Devil Fruit's power. In addition, he could separate his fists from his body and use them as projectiles, and he could also fire bullets from his fists. Thanks to Zoro's data, he was of course also very skilled in sword fighting and was armed with two swords that he could extend from his wrists. He also had a strong defense because his armor was made of Wapo metal and a Dyna Stone served as his energy source, which is why it was almost infinite. His weapons, on the other hand, were made of seastone.
Another ability was a built-in self-destruct mechanism that could have destroyed entire Jewel Island due to the Dyna Stone inside it, but it ultimately succumbed to Zorro. According to him, Kagero could never win against him because he only copies the form but lacks the substance. Without hard training, you cannot defeat a true fighter.
Biography[]
When Zoro was looking for his friends, he met Isaac and a fight broke out. However, the prison warden stopped the fight early because he only wanted to collect data about Zorro's fighting style. Isaac then went with the data to the Aquamarine sea prison, with Zorro pursuing him. On the fourth floor, Zoro and Tashigi discovered the combat robot Kagero in the research laboratory. He then activated himself and a fight ensued, but Zoro's combat data was transmitted to him, so he knew the movement pattern and the pirate hunter was unable to land a hit. Kagero was then able to escape from them. The robot caused a riot in the square in Steel City by attacking pirates indiscriminately, but it also caused panic among civilians and put a woman in danger. Zoro stood up to him, but he was once again outmatched, and Kagero disappeared once again. Since Kagero wanted to endanger the islanders, Tashigi also took up pursuit again. Kagero now went to the naval base to deliver Isaac's orders to Admiral Fujitora. These were that Zorro should be eliminated because he was no longer useful. But before Zorro arrived at the battleship, Kagero had already flown away again.
However, Zorro had to stop pursuing him for the time being. After Jeanne wanted to give her speech to the people at the market square, but was used by Isaac, Kagero caused panic among the civilians nearby again, whereupon Zorro gave chase and went to the sea prison. However, not only he, but also Admiral Kizaru was interested in the robot that was supposed to secure him. A fight ensued, but Kagero, whose maintenance was finished, appeared and attacked Zorro as well. It turned out that the robot had now acquired Kizaru's fighting style and imitated his skills. Only through Tashigi and Fujitora's intervention could the fight finally be ended and while the two admirals left the laboratory, Zoro and Tashigi fought the robot again and were able to bring it to its knees. However, Kagero then activated his self-destruct mechanism, which would have destroyed the entire island due to the Dyna Stone, which is why Tashigi had to evacuate the residents while Zorro tried to stop Kagero. Zoro eventually won, which also disabled the self-destruct mechanism.
