History[]
Hikaru’s parentage is unclear, however it is stated that he was raped by Airi Himekawa throughout his childhood. Akane Kurokawa's analysis reveals that at the age of 10, he became an actor with the desire to join the Lalalie Theatrical Company. He was raped by the actress, Airi Himekawa, and she gave birth to his son, Taiki Himekawa. She'd continue to rape him for years. Hikaru ultimately breaks down and confesses to Airi's husband. Upon, hearing this, Airi’s husband, Seijuurou Uehara, decides to commit a murder-suicide, killing his wife and then himself.
He met Ai at Lalalie. They secretly started dating and even slept together. Hikaru at some point impregnated her due to which Ai broke off the relationship and in order to push him away ended up mocking the fact that he was raped and called him a burden. This emotionally damages Hikaru deeply. Ai would go on to give birth to their twin children, Aquamarine and Ruby, raising them as a single mother before being murdered by an unhappy fan of hers who got this intel from Hikaru.
12 years after Ai’s death, he visited her grave and passed by their daughter, Ruby, admiring how much she has grown and how beautiful she was.
In the Movie Arc, Hikaru initially played the role of a companion for actress Yura Katayose, during a drinking session. While conversing, Yura shared her frustrations about declining work offers due to aging and disclosed her plan to take a month-long break for mountain hiking. Hikaru, in response, cautioned her to be careful. However, Hikaru was later found standing over the actress as she lay dying. It was implied that he had pushed her off a cliff, mocking her for not being cautious while sarcastically talking about how he feels the burden on the loss of her life.
Later on, Hikaru is having dinner with Masaya about the movie his son Aqua is planning. He learns that Hikaru has become one of the sponsors of the film. He later meets Ruby on her mother's grave and then offers an umbrella, complimenting her and how she is shining brighter than her mother before they are interrupted by Akane. Then meets with Nino where he confides with her on how he knows what Aqua's plan is, to keep his identity hidden in the film to turn the public against him and hunt the culprit down.
He later interviews Aqua and calls his movie fiction while stating that he is alright with being socially destroyed as he does feel guilt for Ai's death. However, on seeing the video clip of Ai where she confessed that she might have loved him all along he breaks down. He then promises Aqua he will make things right and turns himself over to the police for his crimes, while telling his accomplice Nino to do the same.
During a concert, Aqua accused Kamiki to be a Liar, encouraged Nino's mentall illness and manipulate Ryosuke, Kamiki just smiles implicating that Aqua said is true, then Aqua wants to Kill Kamiki for Ruby's sake. Hikaru will therefore try to manipulate him by saying that Ruby's reputation will be tainted by his murder if he kills him. Aqua therefore decides to plant himself in the stomach in order to pass off their deaths as a confrontation that went badly before throwing himself off a cliff, taking Hikaru with him. Hikaru will therefore drown while mourning AI's death, saying she was the only person who made feel alive.

- Despite he claims he didn't wanted to kill Ai, it was probably fake since he literally manipulated Nino and Ryosuke to be more obsesive with Ai causing her death.
