Professor Hideomi Kuromatsu is a Nobel prize winning scientist who secretly works for the Gorgom cult and a supporting antagonist in Kamen Rider BLACK.

He is portrayed by Susumu Kurobe, who also played Onikichi Kuroda in Tokkei Winspector.

Biography[]

Hideomi Kuromatsu used his job at Tohto University to provide cover for the remodeling surgeries he performed to turned humans into Gorgom Mutants and conduct other research related to mutants.

After Kotaro Minami escaped from Gorgom and began fighting them as Kamen Rider Black, Kuromatsu performed surgery on his friend Toru Hayami to turn him into a werewolf-like monster using a hormone from Flea Mutant, but he was returned to normal after Black defeated Flea Mutant.

For another scheme, Kuromatsu enlisted his henchman Shigeru Sugiyama to cause car crashes with young men. Kuromatsu then had the injured men brought to his hospital, where he performed surgery to heal them and used their gratefulness towards him to coerce them into joining a Gorgom terrorist militia. He had Sugiyama train them to become soldiers with the help of Lizard Mutant. Kuromatsu hoped that his scheme would impress Gorgom's Three High Priests enough for them to permit him to become a Gorgom Mutant, but the scheme was thwarted by Black.

Kuromatsu would later be executed by High Priests for his failures to defeat Kamen Rider Black.
