As Revalschned has already fled, Graham tells Anos to meet him at Everastanzetta before leaving.

Anos arrives at the temple to ask Graham about his motives, while still theoretically thinking that Ceris is his father, so Graham replies that it is to protect Anos' homeland, since the underworld plans to attack the surface, and Revalschned He is the god who protects them. However, Anos declares that he will protect Dilhade without destroying either Jiordal or Revalschned, causing Graham to make a magical contract with him.
