Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is a minor antagonist in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series' storyline Mobius 25 Years Later. He is Dr. Eggman's counterpart from a possible future, whose reign of terror ended after an encounter with Chaos Knuckles.

25 Years Later (unaltered)[]
Dr. Eggman shares most of his history with his alternate future counterpart. At some point his empire began crumbling, and he sought out Dimitri's help. When the cyborg refused to help him, the doctor ripped his head out of his life support machine in a fit of rage. Eggman decided to steal Master Emerald instead, which would grant him power to conquer the universe. In an attempt to stop him, Knuckles suddenly became Chaos Knuckles once more. Using his powers, he vaporized Eggman and attempted to remake Mobius in his own image before he was stopped by Sonic. With Eggman gone, peace has finally returned to the planet.
25 Years Later (altered)[]
In the altered timeline, Dr. Eggman was defeated by Shadow, who proceeded to take over Mobius for himself. Eggman's fate in the altered timeline is unknown, although he's implied to have still died. The story's writer, Ian Flynn, suggested that his fate was mostly the same as in the original timeline, with the only change being Shadow taking Sonic's place in the events shortly after his death.
