Limit Break items for Characters are different kinds of books called Memories. The most common type are Nameless Hero's Memories which can allow you to limit break most characters. There are also class-specific memories for Valkyries, Archers, Swordfighters, Sorcerers and Heavy Warriors. Special characters, like the ones from events, may have their own Memories and rules on how to limit break them.
Limit Breaking characters allows you to increase their level cap. The thresholds are at levels 25, 40, 55, 70, 85, and 99.
The main way to acquire new Memories is by grinding Lenneth's side story, Path of Trials. You can gain them also from Login rewards or Events. Character-specific memories are rewarded from the events of the corresponding characters.
