Evie is a low-tier third-year student of Wellston Private High School and member of its Safe House. She is currently good friends with Seraphina, Roland and Terrence.
Appearance[]
Evie a short teenage girl with watermelon-pink hair tied in two pigtails secured by hair-ties that are shown as two green beads on each pigtail. Her eyes are the same watermelon-pink as her hair, and she wears the Wellston uniform. Despite the readers seeing her hair as a pink color, Arlo addresses her as red-haired. Her speech bubble are a light tan color.
Her eyes glow a bright orange with her ability activated, of which light her hands up with white-colored light.
Personality[]
Initially, Evie appears to be a quiet, timid, and submissive student, and is often seen being bullied around by stronger mid-tiers such as Brea and Hower. She would be the type of person who sees herself as "unworthy" to stand in the presence of the royals and frequently apologized whenever she made a mistake.
After being trained by Seraphina she becomes more confident in standing up for herself, even against an elite-tier like Zeke, though she can go overboard, develop a hero complex and get herself hurt.
Around other low tiers she is eccentric, friendly and occasionally speaks without thinking. She sometimes obsesses over high tiers like they're celebrities, even getting excited about their new clothes.
History[]
Somehow, Evie was able to get into Wellston without a high level. Like many weaker students there, she was subjected to bullying by stronger students. Though unhappy, she came to accept that it was just her lot in life. At some point, she and Roland tried to be friendly with John, but he just glared at them. This led them to think that John thinks more highly of himself than them.
Powers & Abilities[]
Illumination: Evie is a low-tier who possesses the ability, Illumination, which allows her to generate a bright, white light from her hands. Though Illumination has very limited combat use, Evie has shown that she could disorient people by shining the light in their eyes.[1]
Intelligence[]
Evie has proven herself to be smart enough to get into Wellston High School, despite being a low-tier. Uru-chan has also confirmed that Evie is indeed smart.[2]
Hand to Hand Combat[]
Evie has shown some proficiency in hand-to-hand combat as she was trained by Seraphina.[3]
Relationships[]
John[]
Evie once tried to be his friend but stopped because she felt like he looked down on her. They didn't interact much even though Evie frequently started to hang out with Sera. A very long time later, Evie anxiously approached John (on Dylan's request) to invite him to play a game of New Texis Hold 'em. The following day, she was among the minority that voted for John to join Safe House, proving that she was warming up to him. During the trip, she tells ghost stories that spooked him, and Dylan invited him to listen in to her stories.
Seraphina[]
They become close friends after Seraphina's ability loss due to their similar status. They first meet when she saves her from the bully, Brea and later Hower. Evie starts to admire Seraphina for putting up fights against bullies with no ability. They continue to be friends even after Seraphina regains her ability.
Roland[]
Roland is very good friends with Evie and is with her in almost all of his appearances. He shows deep concern for her when getting herself into danger. The two are stated to hang out after school hours.
Terrence[]
Terrence often hangs out with her and her friends. She doesn't interact with him as much as Roland and Seraphina, though.
Dylan[]
Dylan and Evie most likely met at Safe House (club) and befriended one another. The two have been shown to interact with one another in the Rowden trip.
Remi[]
Evie idolizes Remi like many other high-tiers. Eventually, Remi takes notice of her helping an unconscious student and they become acquainted.
