Ultraman Ribut (ウルトラマンリブット, Urutoraman Ributto) is an Ultra who belongs to the Galaxy Rescue Force, a cosmic organization that rescues and protects innocent creatures.
He originally appeared in Upin & Ipin x Ultraman Ribut and its sequel. He was created by both Les' Copaque Productions, the creators of Upin and Ipin, and Tsuburaya Productions during their collaboration promotion. Ultraman Ribut made his first on-screen appearance in the Ultra Series in Ultra Galaxy Fight: New Generation Heroes.

Absolute Conspiracy - The Beginning[]

Ultraman Max and Ribut investigate a strange presence on Planet Mikarito that's causing it to age too rapidly. They discover the egg of a Maga-Orochi being protected by a Hellberus. Amidst capturing it with Ribut's Strong Net, they are ambushed by Alien Sran and Max is held captive and infected with Gudis cells.
With a mere three days to prepare to save Max, Ribut was put through harsh training by Ultraman Great and Ultraman Powered, eventually obtaining the Spreader Rod and Ribut Blocker. Returning to Mikarito, Ribut managed to administer the vaccine needed to save Max, and with the help of Great, Powered, Max, and Xenon, they managed to destroy Maga-Orochi.[Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy]

- Spreader Rod (スプレッダーロッド, Supureddā Roddo): A spear of light given to him by Ultraman Powered.
- Energy Blast: Ribut fires a blast of energy from the Spreader Rod.
- Remote Cutter (リモートカッター, Rimōto Kattā): Ribut's version of the Ultra Slash.
- Strong Net (ストロングネット, Sutorongu Netto): A ray used to create an energy net. Can be used to trap enemies as strong as Etelgar, or to protect Ribut and his allies from an enemy attack.
- Data Manipulation: Ribut can convert a Gomora GUTS Hyper Key into his own personal key in order to transform.

- Ultraman Ribut's name came from the word "Ribut" in the Malaysian language that means "Storm".

- Ultraman Ribut is the first Ultra who was rendered in CGI before his live action suit make first on-screen appearance debut in the episode 155 of New Ultraman Retsuden, and later followed by Ultraman Gruebe.
