Supekkio's name is derived from Specchio, the Italian word for "glass".
History[]
Ultraman Arc[]
The Supekkio are a mass of living crystalline particles from outer space that can come together to mimic other living creatures. One of them went to the Earth for unknown reasons at some point and disguised itself as a Gomess and appeared at Mt. Ratsuno, making its way up the mountain which had SKIP confused by its behaviour, since kaiju were known to bury underground in search for food instead. At their recommendation, the GDF attacked the entity with tank fire containing citronella acid, the weakness of the Gomess species, only to be surprised to find that they had no effect. Even more bizarrely, the Gomess began to emit anti-gravity waves from its body and took flight towards Okami Town where Hiroshi Ban's daughter, Tsugumi Ban, was visiting for her job. These strange abilities led the GDF to label the enemy Gomess (SP).
Rampaging and causing destruction, the entity disguised as Gomess then fought Ultraman Arc, whose attacks failed to penetrate its tough body. Using the Arc Eye Sword, he slashed the back of the Gomess and revealed a crystalline structure inside it, confirming suspicions that this Gomess was not what it seemed. The creature fired beams while reflecting Arc's attacks, until the giant had the idea of continuously reflecting a beam between the opponent's barrier and his sword, superheating the surface until it glowed red hot. Closing the distance between them, Arc used his weapon to cut through the Gomess.
Defeated, the creature's disguise faded and revealed its true form, which began to break down. Shu Ishido confirmed that it was the space monster Supekkio, which had never been sighted on the Earth before. He arranged to get a sample of the monster while speculating that it may have come to the town to attack the glass factory there to feed on the glass and silicates there. What is Passed Down
Trivia[]
- Suit actor:
- Gomess (SP): Hiroyuki Arai
- Supekkio's original form bears a stark resemblance to Pris-Ma.
- In the GDF's log files for Supekkio, the following is mentioned:
- The Supekkio's ecology is largely unknown, and opinions are divided on whether they are a form of space bacteria, or lifeforms that originated from a distant planet.
- The Supekkio have been observed to feed on the dead carcasses of Gurashiri, The Space Glass Kaiju
- Like Supekkio, Gurashiri's name is derived from "glass".[Note 1]
, whose body composition is primarily silicon, suggesting that the Supekkio's diet consists mainly of silicates like glass.
- ↑ As Supekkio's name is spelled in its romanized pronunciation, the Ultraman Wiki has taken the liberty to spell Gurashiri's name in the same manner.

- Powers and Weapons
- Mimicry: Supekkio can perfectly mimic the appearance of other kaiju to disguise itself.
- Flight: Supekkio emits anti-gravity waves from its body in order to fly.
- Beams: Supekkio can emit cyan beams of light as a means of attack.
- Barrier: A reflective barrier that Supekkio can use to defend itself from other beam-based attacks.
- Durability: Due to its bodily composition, Supekkio's body is extremely tough and is able to ward off most physical attacks. However, it seems to be weak to high temperatures and slashing attacks.
