Flatbeds are pieces of rolling stock with a flat surface. The North Western Railway owns several types of these wagons.

Four-Wheeled Flatbeds[]

Four-Wheeled Flatbeds are the shortest type of flatbed. They are usually used for handling very small loads.

Six-Wheeled Flatbeds are the standard flatbed type. They are used for carrying various loads.

The flatbeds are made from the Six-Wheeled Open Wagons with the main body removed.

Eight-Wheeled Flatbeds are medium-sized flatbeds. They are used for carrying various loads, including the Fair Dragon.

Twelve-Wheeled Flatbeds are the longest type of flatbed. They are usually used for the handling of heavy or long loads such as Sailing Boats.

Percy's Overnight Flatbed is a flatbed used by Percy to carry all of his overnight items.

The flatbed is painted golden yellow with bluish-black wheels.

Carly has a set of flatbeds which she uses to help fix up the railway.

The flatbeds are painted red or blue with yellow wheels, buffer housings and coupling bases.
