Aspectual magic ｢元素魔法, genso mahō, lit. "element magic"｣ is a type of magic that makes use of magicules to rewrite the laws of nature and manifest phenomena from the user's imagination.
Properties[]
Aspectual magic operates by using the unique properties of magicules to rewrite the laws of the world, causing them to be altered and achieve new properties, allowing the imagined phenomena to manifest into reality using the same set of laws as the World Language.[1][2] As an example, magicules imbued with the image of sapping heat will result creating an effect of ice.[3] By further building on the basic image with a magic formula, the user can add conditions such as shape, range, and velocity to achieve something like an Icicle Lance. In short, it is the ability to skip the natural process and skip straight to the results instantly.
With aspectual magic, the main component of the attack is always the magicules carrying the caster's embodied image and any visual phenomena such as fire or ice is merely an incidental tertiary component of the spell rather than the focus.[3][2] As a result of this, it is impossible to do things like extinguishing a magical flame with ordinary water.[4] For the same reason, aspectual magic is capable of effecting and damaging spiritual life-forms, beings of pure thought and energy.[3][2]
Casting[]
In order to perform aspectual magic, the user requires a strong mental image of the phenomena they wish to create and a certain level of understanding of the world's laws. To supplement this process, tools such as incantations, handseals, and other rituals are often utilized to help reinforce the image in the caster's mind. Once what they wish to happen is solidifed within their mind, the caster will then utilize their spiritual power to gather magicules either from their own internal stores or from the atmosphere around them using their internal source as a catalyst.[2] Once the spell is constructed and the magicules are gathered, the only step remaining is to activate the magic using mana. At this point the magic will remain in effect indefinitely until its energy is expended, it runs out of mana, or the caster shuts it off.[4]
Compound magic[]
Compound magic ｢合成魔法, gōsei mahō｣ involves combining the effects of two or more magics from different "schools" of aspectual magic to create a magic on a scale beyond either of the original two types. For example, fire magic combined with explosive magic results in the explosive flame magic used by Erald and Shizu.
Due to the nature of compound magic its contents aren't compiled into an easily accessible magical formula. As a result of this, all of the aspects of the spell like launch speed, targeting accuracy, size and scope of the effect, and duration are in complete control of the casters whims. However, casting compound magic requires an intense amount of mental capacity that normal magicians are unable to handle and a large amount of mana to keep it under control. This type of magic is usually only allowed to be studied by master wizards for military purposes.

Analysis magic[]
Analysis magic ｢解析魔法, kaiseki mahō｣ is magic that allows the user to analyze the properties of the desired target.

Barrier magic[]
Barrier magic is magic that produces a Bounded Field ｢結界, kekkai, lit. "Barrier"｣ that can either prevent people or effects from passing through or enforce specific effects within the barrier.

- Alignment Field ｢対魔属性結界, araimento fīrudo｣
- Anti-monster Field ｢対魔結界, taima kekkai｣
- Anti-shock Area ｢衝撃吸収領域, anchi shokku eria｣: A barrier that reduces up to 99% of all physical damage within its radius.
- Barrier ｢障壁, baria｣: Creates a barrier around the user that can block incoming damage.

Contract magic ｢契約魔法, keiyaku mahō｣ is magic that enforces the terms of a contract between two willing parties.[8][9][10]
Creation magic[]
Creation magic ｢創造魔法, sōzō mahō｣ is magic that allows the user to shape and create substances. It is commonly utilized to create weapons and clothing as well as golems.

Earth magic[]
Earth magic ｢土魔法, do mahō｣ is magic that manipulates the earth around the user.

- Earth Lock ｢地面固定, āsu rokku｣: Smooths out the terrain and creates even footing, can also be used in conjunction with Liquidize to trap opponents in the ground.[13]
- Liquidize ｢液状化, ekijōka｣: Softens the earth, typically used to trap an opponent in a pitfall.[14]
- Mud Hand ｢泥手, maddo hando｣: Softens nearby earth into mud and uses it to hold the target in place.[15]
- Mud Spears ｢土泥魔槍乱, maddo supiāsu｣: Fires spears made of hardened mud.

Enhancement magic[]
Enhancement magic ｢強化魔法, kyōka mahō｣ is magic that "buffs" the target. It can be used to increase someone's physical stats or reinforce something's structural integrity/durability.

- Protection ｢保護障壁, purotekushon｣: Creates a protective barrier around the target.
- Reinforce ｢武具強化, riinfōsu｣: Greatly raises the durability of equipment.

Explosive flame magic ｢爆炎魔法, bakuen mahō｣ is compound magic that combines explosive magic with fire magic to devastating effect.

Flight magic ｢飛行系魔法, hikōkei mahō｣ is magic that enables the user to fly. It works by taking advantage of magicule resistance around the user to keep them aloft and propel them.[19]
Gravity magic[]
Gravity magic is magic that manipulates gravity,[20] used mainly to increase or decrease the gravity on a specified object or area.

Heat magic[]
Heat magic ｢熱の魔法, netsu no mahō｣ is magic that generates heat directly, without using fire and flame as a medium.[21][22]
Ice magic[]
Ice magic ｢氷結魔法, hyōketsu mahō｣ is magic that takes away heat using ice as a physical medium.
- Cocytus ｢氷結地獄, kokyūtosu｣: Strategic class magic meant for city extermination. It freezes a wide area, extending over a radius of potentially over 30 kilometers depending on the skill of the user. If the magic is focused solely on individuals, it can freeze even an Ifrit solid.[23]
- Ice Blizzard ｢水氷大魔嵐, aisu burizādo｣: High level magic that creates a freezing storm of ice in a specified area.[24]
- Ice Breaker ｢氷塊破砕, aisu bureikā｣: The strongest ice magic spell against a single target. The user freezes all the moisture in the atmosphere around the targeted space solid and then shatters it.[25]

Life magic ｢生活魔法, seikatsu mahō｣ is low level magic that affects on the human body in ways that are useful in everyday life.
- Clean Wash ｢状態清潔化, kurīn wosshu｣: Cleans the body or items and removes odor.
- Healthcare ｢健康管理, herusukea｣: Allows a certain degree of manual control over the body's natural functions such as bowel movement and similar functions.
- Insect Repellent ｢虫避け, mushisake｣: Magic that repels insects.
Light magic[]
Light magic ｢光魔法, hikari mahō｣ is magic that generates and manipulates light, usually to illuminate a specified area.
- Flashbang ｢閃光音響弾, furasshuban｣: Magic that can seriously impair someone's hearing and vision with a blinding flash of light.
- Floor Light ｢広範囲照明, furoa raito｣: Creates lights that illuminate things in a wide area.
- Light ｢照明/灯, raito｣: Creates an orb of light that illuminates things in a small area.

Lightning magic is magic that generates electrical forces.

Nuclear magic[]
Nuclear magic ｢核撃魔法, kakugeki mahō｣ is a magic that relies on the creation and manipulation of abyss cores ｢黒炎核, abisu koa, lit. "black flame cores"｣: incredibly dense balls of dark flames that are capable of interfering with spiritrons. When handled by humans, it requires a large group of experienced casters to perform the spell in a ritual, and even then they can only perform the most basic spell — Nuclear Cannon. Some legendary champions such as Razen are capable of performing it solo so long as they have sufficient time to cast the spell or have it prepared in advance. High ranking daemons are known to be able to fire off nuclear magic spells in rapid succession even in the heat of battle.

Recovery magic ｢回復魔法, kaifuku mahō｣ is magic capable of healing the user or others, similar to the healing spells in holy magic.

- Healing: Magic capable of healing basic injuries.
Slowing magic[]
Slowing magic ｢鈍足魔法, donashi mahō｣ is magic that reduces the momentum of the target, usually used to halt a fast moving monster or object.
- Deceleration ｢減速, gensoku｣: Magic that greatly reduces the momentum of an object or person, especially useful in dealing with high speed opponents.
Spatial magic[]
Spatial magic ｢空間魔法, kūkan mahō｣ is magic that manipulates space for an extensive variety of uses, such as storing objects and switching positions. Wounds created with spatial magic cannot be healed by conventional means.

Wind magic[]
Wind magic ｢風魔法, kaze mahō｣ is magic that generates and manipulates wind.
- Air Buster ｢空破大魔砲, ea basutā｣: High-level magic that creates a continuous explosion using air pressure. Its lack of combustion and ability to be limited to a specific direction makes it perfect for enclosed spaces. Anyone capable of casting this magic can be called an A-rank threat off of that feat alone.[32]
- Airflow Shut ｢空流遮断, eafurō shatto｣: Prevents sound from traveling outside a specified range and normally used to hold private conversations.
- Air Shut ｢空気遮断, ea shatto｣: Removes the air from a specified space. It's used for shutting down mages who are unable to perform magic without a chant.
- Tornado Blade ｢竜巻大魔刃, torunēdo burēdo｣: Projectile AoE magic that can tear apart anything within a radius of where it lands. Under the right circumstances, it can kill over 3 people with one shot.[32]
- Wind Cutter ｢風切大魔斬, uindo kattā｣: Projectile magic that cuts whatever it comes into contact with using a blade of wind.[32]
