Devil Transformation is a stance used by Kazuya Mishima since Tekken Tag Tournament 2, enabling Kazuya to transform into Devil and gaining moves reminiscent of Devil's standalone appearances. Repeating the command when transformed will return Kazuya back to his human form. The animation for Devil Transformation would be reused for Roar of the Devil.
In Tekken 7, it can only be activated during Rage. In Season 2, the transformation gained Power Crush properties, and in Season 4, the transformation causes a shockwave that can knock an opponent down.
In Tekken 8, Devil Transformation now occurs automatically when activating Heat though all attacks consume Heat, and Kazuya will revert once Heat is finished.

Trivia[]
- In Tekken 7, if the user is grabbed as they transform, but break the throw, Kazuya will automatically transform during the throw break animation.[1]
- The ability to transform back into Kazuya from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 by repeating the transformation command is still present in Tekken 7 but since Rage is sacrificed in order to transform, undoing the transformation cannot be done outside of Practice Mode.
