The Gyro Clipper (ジャイロニッパー Jairo Nippā?, "Gyro Nipper") is one of Cammy's throws in Street Fighter V.

Description[]
Executed by pressing Light Punch and Light Kick, (the throw command) near an opponent. Cammy rolls on top of her opponent's shoulder and positions herself so that she and her opponent are facing the same direction. With her legs crissed-crossed around their neck, Cammy twists her opponent's neck with her hands. As the opponent stands stunned, Cammy then leans backwards and delivers a Reverse Frankensteiner, dropping her opponent on their stomach. While the opponent is recovering, Cammy performs a somersault and springs back to her feet.
Tactics[]
Cammy's throws are significantly crucial to her gameplay. While it does less damage and stun than her back throw, it leaves her closer to her opponent for better okizeme. By combining her fast walk speed, frame trap combos, and constant offensive pressure, Cammy can constantly keep her opponent guessing and potentially force them to make a mistake; which can result in them taking a lot of throws. In the corner, this move amplifies Cammy's pressure game. If used in the corner, she can dash after the throw and either maintain pressure on her opponent with normals, or go for another Gyro Clipper for a pseudo-throw loop.
This move is extremely useful when she catches her opponent constantly blocking her frame trap pressure combos. By conditioning her opponent to stay on the defense, she can sneak another throw or perform tick throws to maintain pressure. After landing a couple of throws, she can utilize shimmies to bait other opponents to tech her throws, thus opening them up for more damaging combos. When her first V-Trigger is active, her throws become even more of a threat. The opponent has to anticipate whether Cammy may go for an enhanced, yet safe Dive Kick, or dash forward and throw them when they are on their heels.
Trivia[]
- This throw is a direct replacement of her former Hooligan Suplex.
