Hear yea, hear yea. EduCorps Meeting 19, will occur on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at 7 PM ET in the #Wookieepedia-educorps channel on IRC, where we will launch our crusade against the ugliest of CANs. If you are an EC-only member and cannot attend, please leave notes saying how you will vote on the articles under review. Otherwise, bring your mount, cape, and your father's power lance.

To-do list[]

Old foes[]

  • Blasted Asteroid—Needs an update
    • Updated. I haven't included info about Imperials and the players going into the ruins to investigate the crash, as I'm not sure its relevant to the franchise as a whole. Ayrehead02 (talk) 13:09, March 4, 2015 (UTC)
  • Incident CommanderLon Shevu's article claims that he was an Incident Commander
  • PTB-625 planetary bomber—Now needs an update for expanded profile.
  • Systems analystWhatLinksHere has systems analyst linked on a bunch of Star Tours related articles
  • TestosteroneProgesterone is linked to this article and has information related to it. While it might be speculation, it still should be checked out.
  • Z—Needs an update

The devil's spawn[]

  • 221st Mechanized Assault Group—There is nothing on the piece that says it was part of the Remnant. The Remnant wasn't even around in the Rebellion era. All that can be gained about the piece's affiliation is that it has an Imperial symbol on its base. The full release date also cannot be sourced to the game.
  • 88th Mechanized Assault Group—There is nothing on the piece that says it was part of the Remnant. The Remnant wasn't even around in the Rebellion era. All that can be gained about the piece's affiliation is that it has an Imperial symbol on its base. The first sentence of the BTS cannot all be sourced to the news article.
  • 98th Elite Mechanized Assault Group—There is nothing on the piece that says it was part of the Remnant or was used by warlords. I have no clue what is being used in the link in reference two for sourcing purposes. The release date will need a source.
  • 71st Elite Mechanized Assault Group—There is nothing on the piece that says it was part of the Remnant. The Remnant wasn't even around in the Rebellion era. All that can be gained about the piece's affiliation is that it has an Imperial symbol on its base. Someone should check to see what the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide says about the group. Also, the BTS cannot all be sourced to that news article.
  • 88-R Nightscreamer
    • This article has two redlinks.
    • The release date needs its own source.
    • From a note on page 82, it can be determined that Chentu Chek lived at the same time as Dengar. I believe that from this information and other information in the book, an range of eras can be determined, which should be mentioned in the BTS.
    • There are a couple more things that can be added about Chek's opinions/recommendations for the vehicle.
  • BAX-7 landspeeder
    • The release date needs its own source.
    • It should be mentioned that this vehicle was included in Chentu Chek's section of the guide.
    • From a note on page 82, it can be determined that Chentu Chek lived at the same time as Dengar. I believe that from this information and other information in the book, an range of eras can be determined, which should be mentioned in the BTS.
  • ABP-980 bio-light panel
    • While the infobox includes Rebellion era, the current information in the history section does not clearly specify that the device existed during the Rebellion era. Page 2 says that the catalog was for the time period between Episode IV and Episode V, so this more specific information should be used in the history section.
    • There is also nothing I can see in the book that specifies an April 1995 release date, so that's going to need another source.
    • Unless another part of the book spells out the Ltd. as Limited, the company should be at "Ferisoliq Imports, Ltd."
    • The availability information on page 4 shows that the item was available in large cities and spaceports.
    • The source uses the term "Aqualish bio-light panel" as an alternate name, so that should be included.
    • The source says the device was the latest in bioluminescence.
    • The book notes that plankton are susceptible to a variety of chemicals and gases. The source touts this as an additional safety feature.
    • While it is kind of hinted at in the article, the source states that the plankton are microscopic plants, so it would be a good idea if this article stated this clearly.
      • Fixed, now over 250 so will take to GAN. Ayrehead02 (talk) 13:01, March 4, 2015 (UTC)
  • BTL-S3B Y-wing starfighter—It could be a mistake, but WhatLinksHere shows that Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Core Rulebook mentions the ship.
  • GRGC-800 grav mill
    • While the infobox includes Rebellion era, the current information in the body does not clearly specify that the device existed during the Rebellion era. Page 2 says that the catalog was for the time period between Episode IV and Episode V, so this more specific information should be used in the body.
    • There is also nothing I can see in the book that specifies an April 1995 release date, so that's going to need another source.
    • It is not entirely clear from the article, but the book states that the device could simulate high and low gravity environments.
    • The availability information on page 4 shows that the item was available in large cities and spaceports.
    • Unless another part of the book spells out the Inc. as Incorporated, the company should be at "Quarlitech Aergronics, Inc."
    • The book mentions that the amount of training on the grav mill needed to adjust to a new gravity depended on the difference in gravity from what the user was accustomed to.
  • Hiding Cube SCT-1000
    • While the infobox includes Rebellion era, the current information in the history section does not clearly specify that the device existed during the Rebellion era. Page 2 says that the catalog was for the time period between Episode IV and Episode V, so this more specific information should be used in the history section.
    • There is also nothing I can see in the book that specifies an April 1995 release date, so that's going to need another source.
    • The availability information on page 4 shows that the item was rare and difficult to find anywhere.
    • The source uses the term "Bith hiding cube" as an alternate name, so that should be included.
    • The source notes that the magna-locks are difficult to pick or damage.
    • It also notes that the cube can be activated and deactivated.
      • Fixed, over 250 so will take to GAN. Ayrehead02 (talk) 13:01, March 4, 2015 (UTC)
  • Ilosian—Needs to be checked for extrapolation from The Essential Atlas
  • InstaMist generator
    • While the infobox includes Rebellion era, the current information in the body does not clearly specify that the device existed during the Rebellion era. Page 2 says that the catalog was for the time period between Episode IV and Episode V, so this more specific information should be used in the body.
    • There is also nothing I can see in the book that specifies an April 1995 release date, so that's going to need another source.
    • This should be moved to "InstaMist Generator" per the source.
    • The availability information on page 4 shows that the item was available in large cities and spaceports.
    • There is nothing I can see in the source about it being produced: "prior to the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire."
    • The entry lists the designer as Mike Kogge and says it was an honorable mention. This is part of The Fantastic Technology Contest mentioned on page two.
  • Kashyyykian giant weaver—Upon examination, the description for this creature is the same as that of the Wyyyschokk, so I believe that this article needs to be merged.
  • Meiloorun
    • I'm not sure why the given source is considered to be part of the Rebellion era in this article.
    • All it says is this: "He hit hard, with his helmet splitting like the rind of an overripe meiloorun." I'm not sure if this is enough to call it a fruit, but the part about the rind splitting when overripe should definitely be included in the article.
  • Riileb precursor species
    • Alien Encounters says that the Riileb evolved from large insects. It might be a good idea to mention the height of the Riileb in the BTS as context for their size.
    • It also states that much of the species' insectoid heritage remained with the species. The article just mentions the antennae, but the heritage could include other elements.
    • I believe that there should be a mention of the mythical The First Riileb.
  • Scintil vine—No references, the release date probably cannot be sourced to the book, and someone should check to find a source that supports the 980 BBY date.
  • Tass root—No references, the release date probably cannot be sourced to the book, and someone should check to find a source that supports the 980 BBY date.
  • Tellanadan moonflower—The part about the flower's homeworld should be handled in a similar manner to reference 3 here.
    • Dealt with. 501st dogma(talk) 22:23, February 15, 2015 (UTC)
  • Tuskbeast pike—Needs an update. The Rise of the Empire era is exclusive to the infobox.
  • Vendaran—Reference three sources a lot of information to the Atlas Companion, which cannot support most of this information.

Items for discussion[]

We should probably discuss the fact that our main page specifically says that we are not a review board. Corellian PremierJedi symbolThe Force will be with you always 02:22, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

  • Sections of that definitely need to be rewritten. I can create an updated page to propose at the meeting. Supreme Emperor (talk) 05:15, February 12, 2015 (UTC)
    • I completely forgot about this, there's no way I can have this done before the meeting, Sorry. Supreme Emperor (talk) 03:08, March 6, 2015 (UTC)
  • Fame Drimal—The question has been brought up whether any of the post-4/25 SW.com posts should be added to Legends articles, and if any apparent new info should really be taken as official as opposed to just fan speculation. Currently I sourced his Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion affiliation to the SW.com Neimoidians article, but wonder, besides the whole questionable nature of those Blogs on Legends articles at all, is this just a duck test scenario, based on him and Gap Nox both wearing the typical outfits of the Gunnery Battalion? We consider this guy ISB based on his outfit, without anything AFAIK explicitly saying so. And if we were to see a stormtrooper, Bespin Wing Guard, Rebel pilot, etc. we would know what they are from their outfits. I admit I am not that familiar with the Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion, but it seems to me this is another apparent duck test case. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 16:17, February 13, 2015 (UTC)
