    • Support the 1-2-3-4 simultaneous nominations rule.
    • Vehemently oppose the proposed new requirements for nominators. The last thing we need on the GAN or the other nomination pages is more barriers of entry. We need more nominators, not fewer. This is really a non-issue, the vast majority of all GANs are by people who are experienced. If the AC can't handle a handful of nominations from new nominators every year, however rough, we have a bigger problem. The GAN is a perfect challenge for a newcomer. By restricting first-timers to one simultaneous GAN (as per above) is a much better solution than requiring CAs. I also think it's problematic to make entry to the GAN dependent on another review panel (the EC), regardless of the fact that many ECs are also ACs. CANs are different in structure from GANs and it's gonna be an issue when a CAN from a new nominator goes over the wordcount, for example.
