The Viis Empire was an empire in the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. Its capital was the planet of Viis. It kept the Aaroun species enslaved and bred them as servants and gladiators. The Vlis Empire was decimated by the shape shifting, malevolent entity known as the Mnggal-Mnggal and collapsed as a result.
The Viis and their clothing resembled a reptilian species of which a New Republic diplomat belonged to.

The Viis Empire first appeared in the book series Alien Chronicles made by Lucasfilm Ltd.. Its inclusion in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia canonizes its existence in the Star Wars universe.
