Victory Station was a space habitat in the orbit of Yavin. It was built by entrepreneurs who offered tours of the battlefield where the Battle of Yavin had been fought and won by the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It only operated briefly under the New Republic, until it was closed and stripped for salvage.

In the year 0 BBY/ABY,[4] the Alliance to Restore the Republic won a major victory against the Galactic Empire by destroying its first Death Star battle station in the orbit of the gas giant Yavin.[5] Almost immediately thereafter, scavengers began scouring the wreckage of the battle station, playing hide-and-seek with the Imperial patrols guarding the debris.[2]

It took the Alliance three more years[4] to defeat the Empire for good at Endor[6] and transition into the New Republic. After Endor, entrepreneurs built a space habitat in the orbit of Yavin, which they christened "Victory Station." From there, they offered tours of the battlefield where the legendary Battle of Yavin had once been fought. Victory Station, however, only operated briefly during the New Republic Era, and after closure was quickly stripped for more salvage.[2]
