Verus Carbinol was the Imperial governor of the planet Garnib. He hated the posting on the arctic world and spent the majority of his time in office alone in his 47-room oceanside mansion, enjoying the wealth he was passively earning from unopposed taxes. Garnib Station, the planet's only Imperial base, was located next to his mansion.
