Ithor Destroyed[]
I hate to edit a page without first checking, especially when I'm not logged in (forgot my pw, :P), but where it says it was defending Ithor when Ithor was destroyed, is that proper wording? The way it's phrased, it makes it sound as though the planet itself was actually destroyed rather than just "biologically cleansed" by the Vong's biological weapon. Or is that just my own personal understanding of the definition?--64.8.152.220 19:10, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- "Destroyed" can mean "To ruin completely; spoil" or "To render useless or ineffective". Devastated could also work, and its meaning would probably be more readily apparent, but destroyed is certainly used correctly here - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 19:16, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'd say "devastated" is insufficient to describe what happened to Ithor. Ithor's ecosystem was completely obliterated, its atmosphere burned away. There's no way to recover it as a liveable world. That's beyond devastation, to my mind. jSarek 22:55, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Cost?[]
This article (estimates) the cost of the Ralroost as 970,000,000 credits, an Imperial-II officially costs 145,670,000 credits. An Imp-II is far more powerful and multipurpose than a Bothan Assault Cruiser. Why then do they cost only a 6th of the Ralroost???
