Did 1004 visit Gree? I thought he just took the name to show off his minor independence. --SparqMan 19:51, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Oops. I guess so. -- Riffsyphon1024 19:59, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Relation?[]
Could they be related to the Kel Dor? The faces look so similar, and the little tube=ish thingies coming out of their heads.Kardo Sett 10:43, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
ROTJ[]
When might these be in ROTJ? Chack Jadson 20:46, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- At least one person keeps putting it in without attribution as "possible" — my guess is that early concept art for the Quarren which was published somewhere (but where?) was adapted into the Gree by WEG. —Silly Dan (talk) 21:47, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

pardon me if im mistooken but the timeline of galactic history says the gree evolved in 500 bby. on that page it also say's devaroinian's achieved space travel by then so the gree younger then other species. —Unsigned comment by 68.221.84.197 (talk • contribs).
- The timeline of galactic history article says the Gree evolved in approximately 500,000 BBY, not 500 BBY. The claim about Devaronians isn't sourced, so I wouldn't take it too seriously. --Imperialles 18:26, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
SWTOR Updates[]
New information in SWTOR destroys the idea from the West End Alien Encounters Sourcebook that Gree "...were particularly contemptuous of droids, which were not a part of Gree technology."
The Gree ambassadorial corps on Coruscant in SWTOR are completely made up of droids. It's how the prefer to communicate with the greater Galactic community.
24.187.180.65 17:39, December 18, 2011 (UTC) Also, Gree are visible in the Developer Dispatch for the new operation, Terror from Beyond. They are quite different looking than this. I understand if you don't want to put the images in just yet, as it may or may not be "confirmed", but at any rate, keep your eyes peeled.74.215.113.92 20:18, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
- I've seen a picture of what I think is a SWTOR Gree in hologram form[1], and it didn't look very different. It did have the usual six tentacles, large head and so forth. --LelalMekha (talk) 20:33, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
- It's quite different in the face, and had two weird projections and a weird bottom that looked like a Pac-man ghost. Also, someone reverted my edit about the droid thing. I've done this quest, and I can assure you, they are, in face droids. Hence, this should be discarded from the article.74.215.113.92 01:24, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
- SWTOR takes place thousands of years before the West End Games material that mentions their disdain for droids. Cultures change over time. There's no reason to believe both sources can't be correct. Your edit was not just reverted, it was corrected. ~Savage 01:42, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
- At any rate, their biology is extensively different in the game. Here is a video of the actual custscene from the public test server. Note the hunched back, lack of a breath mask, multiple tentacles, and protrusions behind the head. The individual in question appears in the second cutscene. 74.215.113.92 12:32, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, it cut the link out. Just look for TOR Terror From Beyon Cutscenes [Spoilers].74.215.113.92 17:09, September 13, 2012 (UTC)
- No breath mask probably just means the Gree shown is in a more comfortable atmosphere. The rest of the appearance changes are par for the course for the more obscure alien species in the EU (or even for fairly well-known ones like the Bothans.). —Silly Dan (talk) 23:20, September 13, 2012 (UTC)
- Still, I think we should take pictures from the video. Also post it in Lalat'k's page, as he is the individual in question.74.215.113.92 00:29, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
- There's actually a really nice picture of a Gree in Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia. We should probably use it once someone has a chance to scan it or extract it form the Kindle/Nook version. ~Savage 17:47, October 11, 2012 (UTC)
- With regards to Gree anatomy, it has been a long time since the game came out, and while we still do not know what they look like under the robes, we can see for certain that they now have at least ten tentacles; they still have two manipulators and two heavy grippers, but appear now to use six to eight tentacles as ambulators (six on the in-game model as far as we can see, but the image in the encyclopedia shows eight). In addition, though I know not why, the two "weird projections" mentioned by 74.215.113.92 are marked in the encyclopedia as "ambulatory tentacles," and appear to have strange bulb-like growths at their end; perhaps they act as a type of sensory organ which helps with maintaining balance? Anyway, that's what I could gleam from the encyclopedia entry and felt was worth mentioning here. --Lestroisrois (talk) 19:04, April 4, 2016 (UTC)
