Synth-paper was a type of synthetic paper-like material that was used as stationery during the height of the Old Republic. The Rebel Alliance pamphlet A Call to Reason, written by Mon Mothma in the height of the Galactic Civil War, was printed on synth-paper to evoke nostalgia for an idealized past.
