"The Tipsy Mynock welcomes the Karfeddion Skull Crackers."
―Holobanner on display in The Tipsy Mynock cantina in 32 BBY[1]

The Skull Crackers were a smashball team from the planet Karfeddion known for their disregard of the rules of play. In 32 BBY, the Skull Crackers attended The Tipsy Mynock cantina and became inebriated.

Description[]

The Skull Crackers were a team based on the planet Karfeddion that participated in the sport smashball. They were known throughout the Senex sector for disregarding both the rules of the game and the lives of opposing players, but were considered local heroes on Karfeddion.[1]

History[]

In 32 BBY,[2] the members of the Skull Crackers attended The Tipsy Mynock, a cantina on Karfeddion, which had a holobanner welcoming them put on display. A dozen members of the team gathered in a corner of the cantina and drank alcoholic beverages, raising their flagons at each other and passers by. They became more inebriated with each minute and were ready to cause trouble.[1]

At the same time, the Nebula Front pirate Arwen Cohl and his associate Boiny had a meeting in The Tipsy Mynock with the Human Lope, who could have been mistaken for a Skull Cracker had he been several centimeters shorter and less dangerous in appearance. The meeting was interrupted by the arrival of a group of four Humans whom Cohl assumed were Skull Crackers, but they were actually a group led by the individual Pezzle, who planned to collect money owed to them by Lope.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The Skull Crackers appeared in Cloak of Deception, a 2001 novel by James Luceno.[1]
