Sith Knight was the title given to a former Sith apprentice who had completed his or her training with a Sith Master or another Sith Knight.
History[]
During the Jedi Civil War, Sith Knights were less numerous than the Sith Marauders, a Sith Warrior variant. Around this time, a Sith Knight under the direct command of Darth Revan trained the Sith apprentice Darth Voren.[2]
Much later, the term was used to describe a group of Separatist force users who served in the Clone Wars. They participated in the Hunt for the Decimator, under the command of the Chiss Dark Acolyte Sev'rance Tann.[4] Sith Knights were trained at Sith Temples.[1]
Sith Knight was also another term for the rank of Sith Saber within the Lost Tribe of Sith.[3] When the Sith Meditation Sphere Ship arrived on the planet Kesh in 41 ABY, all of the tribe's Sith Knights learned how to navigate the craft.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
During the pre-production of the 1999 movie Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, conceptual sketches of a potential "Sith Knight" were produced by Concept Artist Ed Natividad.[6][7]
In the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and its 2002 expansion pack, the Sith Knights were voiced by Michael Gough.[1]
