This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

Screecher's Reach was a mountain on a planet that featured a cave which was considered to be haunted. At some point prior to the Sith revealing themselves to the Jedi in 32 BBY, the cave was inhabited by a Force-sensitive woman.[1]

History[]

At some point, Screecher's Reach was inhabited by a Sith witch[2], which led to ghost stories about the cave in the mountain being haunted.[1]

Before 32 BBY, a small group of children led by a Force-sensitive child named Daal from a nearby workhouse visited the mountain wanting to see the ghost for themselves. Outside of the cave, one of the children named Baython recited the ghost stories to the others. The children eventually made their way to the entrance of the cave, upon entering, the children immediately felt the darkness within. The Screecher revealed herself to the children, who believed her to be just within their mind, the children ran but Daal stayed behind to confront the Sith witch. After a brief confrontation Daal used the Force to bring a rock to crush the Sith woman; however, it did not kill her, the witch attempted to use the Force to bring her crimson Sith lightsaber to her hand. Daal grabbed the saber before the witch could, and with little hesitation, Daal killed the Sith.[1]
