Rum custard was a type of custard from[1] the Mid Rim[2] planet Naboo that was consumable by humans. The food shared its name with rum,[1] an intoxicating alcoholic beverage.[3] In 22 BBY,[4] Senator Padmé Amidala hosted a Naboo-style dinner and served berries from Naboo's Lake Country soaked in rum custard alongside stuffed peppers and five-blossom bread. As Amidala watched her handmaidens and guards eat the dishes, she felt at peace.[1]
