The Reconstruction Authority was the committee created by the Galactic Alliance after the Yuuzhan Vong War to help rebuild the galaxy from the devastation resulting from the war. The Authority was tasked with such things as re-terraforming Coruscant, finding a new homeworld for the Ithorians and other species that lost their homes to the Yuuzhan Vong, and more. The Authority also granted the Jedi a new Jedi Temple on Coruscant as thanks for their help in the War.
