R4-C2^[2] was an R4 astromech droid in service to the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire. The droid relayed a holographic message from the extremist Saw Gerrera to members of the Massassi Group at the Great Temple on Yavin 4.^[1]
